It's not just nasus though, recently, if you got a huge advantage, you could either shove the lane into the other guys face and then go counterjungle or gank mid, exerting pressure everywhere or you could just let the lane shove a bit your way and tank half a dozen minions for 10s while losing a minimal amount of health and then proceed to zone the other guy out of cs and in some cases, experience. This meant that if someone froze the lane, it's very difficult if not impossible to unfreeze it if you're behind or have inferior wave clear.

Increasing minion damage will help but nasus gains a lot from 21 in defence.

Statikk's wording implied they might just be changing those talents to just ignore lane minions, but that makes Indomitable pretty worthless. Hurts the jungler who's going to end up tanking a lot of lane minions during ganks.

The fact that counterstrike is a delayed stun makes drain a lot more of a pain than it is on other champs. Didn't help enemy had a nautilus that kept ganking me, so it's possible the jungle intervention is what made it nearly impossible.

Can't you just use the stun early?
Pretty sure they added that a little after his rework.

Actually this is just a general fix against the snowballry nature of the top lane. Currently wave control is too easy that once you are just a little behind you lose the lane.

you have got to be kidding me in which world of league of legends do junglers DIE TO MINIONS during ganks, lmao maybe like 200 elo where everyone is so underfarmed that minions are as strong as champs, but at no level of important games will this ever be a thing
you continue to amaze me with how you will take a stab at any new idea regardless of what it changes, you have got to be the complainingest person i've ever shared a forum with haha

Everyone knows those specific masteries are broken as shit...
No others have anywhere near as big an effect on how lanes play out.

Sona and Ezreal in bot lane.
Every.
Single.
Game.

I actually don't really get what happened with the nerfs to the 3 AD carries. Corki seems like he was hit pretty hard, while Graves and Ez seemed to be hit a lot less. I think there's still going to be a lot of Ezreal and Graves, but now Corki seems like he'll be put on the side choices (ADs still used but not as much).

Ezreal 55 43.65% 126 Sona 21 16.67% 126
Both in game:
Sona Ezreal 12 4.92% 244

Wave control is a symptom, not the root problem. Freezing a lane isn't easy unless your opponents aren't in a position to punish you for it, directly or indirectly. They have to be more than a little behind for you to reach that point.
Those masteries are most definitely not what hold champions like Nasus, Wukong, or Jarvan back.
