Off silly topic for a moment: what would be the over/under on an ultimate that allows you to ignore terrain or an ability that lets you do it for certain conditions? That seems to be a mechanic we haven't really seen (dashes/flashes not included).

As an ability it would need an immense CD and cost if anything could make it not OP. It essentially would be the best jungle and chase thing ever and might always be broken because of how it would essentially make wards useless.

As an ultimate it might be balanced, but it could suffer Rengar syndrome where it just doesn't offer an ultimate amount of utility.

Either way it might end up as anti-fun because it would make typical meta conventions useless... like wards.

Also this... There are already so many issue with wall-interacting abilities like Anivia and Jarvan and what not interacting with Sej. Or just Poppy.

Seems impossibly overpowered. Would have to be less powerful than eve pre-rework (you could get jumped by her not notice for 5 seconds than turn around and kill her with 75% hp left).

Why would it be too hard? As someone who's put together a handful of games (or game type things), you can differentiate between "boundary walls" and "game walls", so leaving the map isn't an issue, and finishing in a wall isn't really a super difficult issue to work around (damage until you leave, just shunts you). Phasing has been done in many games, it's not really a new concept that can't be worked around.

honestly that wouldn't be that overpowered. make it a standard skill, it works for 3 seconds, no movespeed buff. just turns you into a particle for 3 seconds so you can walk through walls. nice to get around the map, bypass wards, and make cool escapes, but no more overpowered than stealth

I'd agree with this. Especially since there is no concept of high ground, every wall is the same and can be ghosted through, it's not any better than say jarvan for ganking. It'd have to do something more than just allow you to ghost through walls though or else it's an almost completely useless skill for teamfighting. Perhaps a 10-20% damage reduction because you are phased out or something. It'd probably take a LOT of bugfixing though to get it to a state where you don't get stuck in walls and can't go outside the map boundaries.
