In a game today, I was playing jax vs darius, I got a kill onto darius at level 4, cleared the wave, sent ~3 creeps into his tower, nothing much and then the lane reset to the middle. I came back with a definite item advantage, double dorans + ward + pots vs a ruby crystal. I kept the advantage and attempted to snowball it but from level 6 onwards, I was constantly towerdived by their mid or their mid+jungle. I consistently took one or two of them with me so I was staying even as far as kills go but would lose 1-2 waves of creeps to tower. I slowly lost the early lead I held thanks to that because I was falling behind in levels even though I was still ahead/even in gold. Besides having your jungler/mid do something as absurd as come top, is there any other way to deal with that? Do I just run away from tower as soon as I know the tower dive is coming and sacrifice the tower instead of trading kills away? Sacrifice the tower and freeze the lane at the inner turret? On another note, AP eve is so dumb if she gets one or two kills early. Early dfg -> surprise ganks on any lane that'll remove 50% of someones health if they flash immediately and kills them if the stay for another second. I think Riot needs to look again at 1.0 scaling skills on short cooldowns, especially on champions paired with high mobility (rengar == ![]() Your team should also be getting drakes while that is happening.

Didn't recognise it as his hand until you pointed it out. :S Justicar skins light balls are waaaaay harder to see than normal Syndra's dark balls. Also Lmui you can just wander down mid and take that tower if theres 3 top (depending on each sides wave-clearing, but jax is pretty good at pushing). Mid outer is the most valuable tower on the map imo. Mid outer is really important, but as a jungler I also consider purple outer top and blue outer bottom extremely important because they give free access to a huge part of red-side jungle to the enemy. It not only makes stealing camps easy, but also gives easy ganking paths mid and makes a large part of the jungle unsafe for the jungler. Blue-side (bluebuff that is) is way easier to defend because a single ward att bluebuff will spot all gank-attempts as well as all attempts to steal blue. Losing bot tower as blue team also gives a huge amount of dragon control to the enemy team. You could probably say the same for purple teams top tower and baron-control, but at that point it will be a lot less significant since the laning phase is already over and both teams have started grouping up, in which case it is mosly a question of warding properly.

Shyvana also but she's not played a lot imo. And from what I experienced Mundo needs to coordinate with other lanes to counterjungle without risk, maybe I played him bad but I felt a bit fragile with him if you have to fight in the jangle, if you know where the ennemy jungler is it's very easy tho. Nunu sounds annoying but not scary in jungle Nunu won't counterjungle in that he'll fight you at level 1, but he will steal all your shit and laugh while doing it. If he's good, that is, but I really only see Nunu as support at my ELO anyway unless I'm playing him top.

Maybe Nunu. you don't need to ban anything but banning lee would be a good bet because he's pretty annoying In about 90% of games you won't need to worry about invades, and in the other 10% well yousaid you wanted to train maokai so why are you scared of invade plays? Top teams don't ban agressive junglesr when they play maokai why should you, it's good experience to learn to play against it. If you play maokai scared you're never going to be confident with him.

I want to train specific aspects, namely learn to force myself to gank more. It'd be a lot harder to do it if I have to deal with counterjungling and invades since I don't trust my soloQ teammates to collapse on him should his happen (or even to pick strong early laners if I have Mao), so until I'm satisfied with my "attitude" toward ganking I'd rather avoid the more aggressive match-ups. If I wanted to improve my Mao in general I wouldn't try to ban anything (as much as Irelia vs Jayce makes me rage, I don't ban him because I have to be able to handle the match-up).

in any case your idea is stupid because not only will you not be fucked with like 90%+ of the time if you're ganknig a lot you don't care about counterjungling because you aren't there

Could you give a detailed description of how a draft would go with a 2nd ban phase (picks, bans and why you would pick/ban those champs)? I'm having a hard time seeing how a 2nd ban phase would largely affect the game
