In any sort of remotely combat-relevant campaign, I'd ban the Vancian casting classes, and use Bo9S/Psionics instead. It just makes life easier in the long run, because given how abusive Vancian casting becomes, it's going to be unfun for someone if the campaign goes on long enough.
It also is a pain to design encounters for a level 7+ party that has traditional casters, because at that point spells get strong enough that there's ALWAYS some stupid cheesy loophole you have to worry about in your encounter design.

Real. I'm going to try and make it on topic.
Would anyone be interested in a LoL-related one-shot session? I have some ideas knocking around for a couple stories, but I really only have 1 or 2 RL friends who play both LoL and tabletop games.

I had friends that played a marvel themed D&D for a couple months, it was super fun, but the GM just didn't have time and I don't blame him, lot of work. It's pretty surprising how many otherwise good players lack simple knowledge of champion mechanics *coughGandhicough*. "yoyoyo soniv, wtf does lulu do" (3 months after lulu's release) And I realize there are probably online communities that I could get into, but I would like to, at some point, experience table top with a group of friends IRL
Well, either force your friends to do a game (I'd recommend Savage Worlds for a first system, it is not too complicated and a lot of fun). Or search for guys that already play, and become friends with them. As i said, there is a pretty high probability that just by googling, you will find some PnP groups around where you live that are open to playing with new people. I am not really into that only PnP stuff myself, i think it is much more fun to sit around a table playing. Rather than saying that youd like to do it, just do it.

You will likely need to farm at the tower so get used to it. You'll more than likely lose in lasthits but shouldn't die if you are careful and your lategame's much more powerful. If Olaf wants to out-sustain you properly he's going to be the one pushing and if your team knows what's going on(That poppy vs olaf is a tough matchup but poppy is stronger late), it'd be very helpful if either the mid or the jungler ganked the Olaf a few times because he's a rather easy gank. Difficult to explain, that's been my experience with the matchup... It's not as hard as people make it seem but it's still a very unfavorable one opening regrowth seems... Not so good

On a different topic, support Fiddle is amazing.
I tried it last night with my brother, who played Twitch. We went up against an Ezreal/Leona lane and completely crushed them. The Fear -> Silence combo is ridiculously strong, especially if you get lucky bounces. Leona basically couldn't initiate on us because of the CC and damage. Once I hit level 6 the lane was basically over.
I imagine certain duos would present a much greater threat, but it seems really strong.

Real. I just want to throw one last thing in before someone gets banned. HOW cool, would be to have Gilgamesh(the character from final fantasy, not the king irl) as a Champion in LoL? I would pay in solid gold.

Take my money right now Riot. Isn't Gilgamesh supposedly canonically the same person in every game? Like, he just jumps from universe to universe because swords?

Remember Gilgamesh in FF V. He wasn't very witty, though.

It's pretty normal on poppy top to go regrowth.

i wanted to buy a game that my g/f could play with me since her computer can't really run LoL and she sucks at it anyway, so we went to a local "It's Your Move" and asked questions for about an hour till we found a good fit
we ended up getting "Carcassonne" - touted as 'just as much fun with 2 people as it is with 6.' we spent the entire night playing, and went back and bought the expansion "Inns & Cathedrals" the next day. about 2 weeks later we still play every day and we're planning to buy another expansion soon. we've had a couple friends over to play too, it's simple enough to explain to someone who's never done tabletop gaming, and i feel it gets exponentially more fun with more players. i love the 2-player game, but a 4-player game adds a level of chaos that rivals mario party
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carcassonne_(board_game)
if you're worried about not having enough people, i definitely recommend it as long as you can find 1 dedicated person to play with. adding more people adds fun but the 2 player game is 100% worth the purchase (main game was $30, expansion was $12)

HP Regen is overvalued on Poppy because of her stupid passive. I HATE THAT DAMN CHARACTER SO MUCH.
EDIT: Carcassone is a really fun game gtr, I approve of that choice. I also recommend most games by these guys: http://www.cryptozoic.com/games. They're kinda goofy and random, but still have enough gameplay involved to have a good time and all play really fast. Played the hell out of Epic Spell Wars of the Battle Wizards this weekend and found it really entertaining and played some Food Fight as well, which was also a good time, though it was a little slower to learn and play.

Fiddle is actually a kill lane support, while being an anti-kill lane support at the same time. he's really strong in this meta imo. I've always been a huge fan of fiddle support. Fear + life drain, is ridiculously strong, and allows you to tank for a long long time.
also wtf, i have christian mingle as a TL ad, (i'm atheist
