League of legends and Pokemon both have the 'gotta catch em all' mentality going for them, as well as rewarding people for being able to recall knowledge of 100s of different sets of abilities and stats at moment's notice. PvP didn't interest him, he was in it for the collection.  Now he's gonna play GW2 so bye pal.I just finished watching Rengar's champion spotlight. I'm not a fan of Diana but her animations and the way her dash work could make me like her. He's got horrendous animations and his chaining of abilities doesn't seem smooth at all so even if I'm best with bruisers I'm not interested at all. | ||

A lot of people were old as shit when it came out and they couldn't give a shit. People give up way too easily in this game btw, a lot of my losses were when someone at 5mins decided the game was a loss and just went afk. I've had so many games where we were like 0-10 at 10minutes or something and we still ended up winning. | ||

I feel like if I were 2-5 years younger I would have eaten it up and been like everyone else. I played Blue/Red and like half of Gold but that's about it. Didn't really care for the show/movies/franchise beyond the game itself and even then I didn't think it was a huge deal. | ||
