Also, what do you mean by "grinding out your account". You can still do the exact same things you would do at 30 (except ranked, but you got a hidden ranking in normals anyways afaik), so really the only thing you gain is an elo number. If you don't find the game fun to play, investing money probably won't change that. And if you find it fun to play, levelling up should not be a problem. Just focus on the game instead of the levels. If you still want it, http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Boost explains how boosts work. Apparently, they double the base xp you gain, while the 4/10 win boosts give you additional xp according to the maximal game length xp. Both can be combined so you get both the effects, but they don't stack multiplicatively. | ||

seriously even if you get "countered" just get a few ganks and you'll be steamrolling your lane how do people deal with him top anyways besides banning him? | ||

Actually Currently : Gragas/Galio/Maokai/Poppy/Shen/Singed don't gain any.. seems when they have a shield of some kind of defensive steroid they dont get any per level? would think they will add it in for them later though | ||

Gragas has his ale, Galio has Bulwark, Maokai has his ulti and is naturally very tanky with high base HP, Poppy has her imba passive, Singed has his ult. Shen only has a shield, but he's already incredibly powerful so it's very unlikely he'll ever be receiving any buffs anytime soon. It's also important to note that Galio doesn't have mr/lvl probably also because if they gave him that he'd also be getting AP/lvl due to his passive. Honestly, none of the champs you named need MR/lvl and in most cases, giving them MR/lvl would probably make them a bit too strong/unkillable. | ||

When you math it out the time-based boosts can be good if you really want to binge on LoL on a weekend/day but the per win boosts are just not valuable at all. In terms of IP per $ spent rune pages are #1 with champions #2. You're far better off spending all your RP on pages/champions. The only advantage that IP boosts give is that they can be spent on runes, but unless you already have every champion you could ever want to buy you could have just RP bought a champion you were saving for and saved 6300 IP for runes that way. This doesn't even count the champion sales that happen. | ||

Teleport is probably the best defensive laning summoner, but there are some champs that absolutely rely on having ignite so they have that extra offensive edge they need to win lanes. | ||
