You need hp from somewhere, too lazy for warmogs, mallet gives you a nice slow/damage and atmas is great on rammus esp because of his passive. Especially at low elos(the guy did ask for sub 1300 advice) where people don't ward properly and overextend against a rammus you get your build really fast because you can gank all day, it doesn't matter if you're not tanky since they'll be behind anyways.

So....I think when I get home (if I will be home for a while) I'm going to stream some AP mid Evelynn games.
Shit is hilariously fun. Going to make a long post about it too at some point soon to hear what people's opinions are, but not yet.

Yea, iunno how viable it is, but a few days ago I ran into some guy spamming solo mid AP eve games in ranked. He actually did pretty damn well and was quite scary. I'm not sure if it's actually viable or if people just suck since my elo is pretty awful atm. Either way it was pretty hilarious since DFG+Eve ult with lots of AP is scary burst and it's quite easy for Eve to chase a squishy down with W and Q spam while they're slowed by your ulti.

If I remember correctly he went something like DFG Dcap with Rylais/Void after that. Personally I'd probably go dring/kage into DFG and Dcap/Lich or Abyssal/Lich then build Dcap/Abyssal/Rylais as my gold permits.

Taric is amazing in solo queue. It's like so binary, and ezpz. Either you heal, or you stun. Even a retarded AD carry can understand "Stun=go in". It's innately derp-proof.

I think it's the rise of blitz support. He's the cheapest support that can handle a blitz lane effectively, and when pulled doesn't immediately lose lane unlike some of the squishier supports. He also let's you allin a weaker lane, as well as gives you a low, but noticeable amount of sustain in more even lanes.

Mostly the fact that taric has kill, sustain and protect built into his kit, and being a tanky aurabot lategame with 6s cd point and click stun isn't that bad.

Ok, so my friend and I were thinking of something today. Instead of going support/adc bot, bruiser top, ap mid and a jungler, would 1 adc and 1 support in both top and bottom lane and then one AP work? Both lanes could take the two buffs whenever they spawn.

You'd have a hard time peeling for both of your ADC, without any farmed bruiser/tanks. Your ADC's would die so fast, it'd be a joke.

Also, you always have to be scared of the enemy jungler ganking. They always know where all of your team are, so as long as they are able to judge figths correctly, they should always win, because they got complete information. Plus i don't see why both your lanes should be able to take both buffs consistently. The enemy can always turn that into a 4v3 botlane, or a 3v3 toplane.

Pd rammus is pretty legit if you're fed enough that getting more defensive items doesn't really make any sense. You already have pretty high AD so you get pretty huge crits and the movement speed helps get in range for taunt when powerball is on cd//gets blocked.

I think rammus kinda sucks in general past earlyish game because of people blocking your powerball though.

I think they're waiting on more feedback from the PBE to release Diana. With Zyra, they made the mistake of releasing a champion for blatantly OP than darius was on release. I'm imagining that they're scared about doing the same mistake with Diana. With support junglers like nautilus/sejuani, it takes time to figure out if they're strong weak, worth picking up or not but carries can have opinions formed very quickly of them.

On another note though, looking at recent tournament picks, it seems like Sona's coming back as a support and she's seeing much more play in soloQ. Combined with the rise of ezreal, an AD that can take care of himself, the amount of poke bottom lanes with sona nowadays is pretty insane. Taric also has been extremely popular either being picked or banned by everyone since taric/alistar are the two supports that can sustain, kill and protect their AD carries.
