If your leona/alis support dies to a blitz grab they need better runes/masteries. If they grab your support you sit on their ad, unless their AD is in a bad position for you then you just slap the blitz. Don't go tank a minionwave just to attack the enemy ad or whatever. But if I attack the blitz their ad carry will just free focus me right?
If the AD carry is in range to hit you, you should be in range to hit them back. Unless ofc they have Cait or Kog.

Against Blitz I generally adopt a policy of go fuck him up no matter who you're playing (except soraka). Especially at level 1 before he gets his E lift, that and stack defensive runes/masteries. The worst part as support though is when you get hooked and try to fight it, only to see your AD run away shouting "noob support". If they're trying to burst your support its really easy to fuck up their AD while they do.
Part I really hate about blitz though is that he's the best support late-game too by a long way. Usually kill-lanes fall off a bit but blitz hooks outright win games at any point in a way that no other support can match, + his 2 other cc's.

Blitz also has the largest i-just-trolled-my-team potential out of any support except maybe Janna. Have you ever had an idiot Blitz pull their Ali/Amumu/Initiator into your team next to your carry? Ohgod I don't know what's more qq-inducing. That, or a horribly timed Janna ult that completely fucks up your perfectly chained press-R-to-win teamfight.

I usually take the "bait a grab, dodge it, then go kill them both" approach.
Blitz has no sustain and ADs usually have no sustain either, so every chance you have to shoot them safely (i.e. after a dodged grab) is a chance to outright kill them or force them to use their summoners to stay alive. Play aggressive and once they are near their tower always stand behind your minions. Since at that point blitz can't hide in the bush for a suprise grab and the minions will usually be in a nice arc, blitz will be completely useless since he neither provides ranged harass nor sustain at this point. Unless you are careless and get grabbed, the lane is now 2v1.
Also, Alistar support is auto-win against Blitzcrank since if either of you gets grabbed he can just combo to give you free shots on blitz and then he just heals the damage he took from the grab, turning every trade into your favour.

God I really hate playing garen these days. Once they took away the broken the basic awfulness of the hero really shines through. He's so clunky and horrible. Every once in a while I give in and play him and wonder wtf I was thinking.
I think my least favorite change to him is being unable to ult while in E. Who thought that up?

*comfort* I was just about to knock a Lee Sin into the air as Xin Zhao but then the servers went down and I was left with a Xin floating in the air looking bored while a blitz ran into a tree at full speed in some sort of crazed robot rage.

Also have your support ward the bush so you can harass blitz. Ezreal's range is pretty far so if you're having trouble with getting harssed then just hit and back. You could also push the lane as fast as you can. This will help you push blitz back.

If you're support and you're getting hooked by Blitz, then you're doing something wrong unless you specifically wanted to bait them to attack you. Whether your ad can salvage the situation by picking someone off while you're getting bursted down is another story.
Playing against Blitz in lane is annoying but not really difficult if ad and support know what they are doing. He is fairly weak in the lategame unless he manages to get lots of kills/assists in the laning phase. Without that he becomes a one hook wonder. I've also seen plenty of bad Blitz players, that initiated for the enemy team by pulling the enemy bruiser/tank directly on top of their own carries.
Also most of these "game-winning" hooks are due to carries, that forget about him and dance around in front of their own bruisers...
In my opinion Blitz is not the best late game support but he requires adaptation in playstyle from the enemy team and in SoloQ someone usually doesn't adapt and starts feeding like crazy.

Regarding the talk about college vs going pro if you're already pro. I think people these days look a lot for what school you came from and what it says before your name on a piece of paper they gave you. If you don't have that piece of paper you have a harder time finding the job statistically.

I think it depends. As Ezreal it's probably better to go after the opposing AD carry because he has an edge with his W. Otherwise it depends on how much easier it is to kill Blitzcrank (i.e. how much mana he has).

While spinning all of his other abilities are disabled, that's why you can cancel it. The same reasoning applies to Wukong's R.

It's pretty stupid, means you have to cut your combo short to finish your combo before your silence wears off, so way too often you just can't get full damage because your abilities don't fit into each other. Nice design right there
