I've had this happen to me about 3-4 months ago, just with different items. What happened to me was that all dorans blades were showing up as BF swords. Needless to say, I was pretty freaked out when their riven came back to lane with 2 BF swords at 6 minutes. | ||

Heh, funny, I had the exact opposite impression -- I greatly enjoyed playing her. I also thought she was surprisingly strong the few times I played her mid, but that's probably others not knowing how to play against her yet. She felt very safe; you can farm for a distance or harrass from afar with WQ; your E isn't blocked by minions and has a pretty long range, so most mids can't harrass you without risking a trade. And her early/mid-game team fight damage is really good if you can land the ult. Only thing I don't know is how well she does late-game. It looks like it'll be a lot harder to keep the sustained damage going once other AP carries can safely burst you down in one combo. | ||

And when I played her in ranked games, instead of the usual "OMG plz don't play <new champ> gg" I had people on my team start talking about how OP Zyra supposedly is. (This is low ELO, mind you.) | ||

Feels like every team fight you have to go WWQR instantly. If you get cc'd or have to kite or anything then your usefulness plummets to zero without those 2 amped up turrets inside a mass stun. Then again once I actually starting hitting E's she'll probably get way stronger. Wishing I'd bought Viktor instead though.  | ||
