1. Communication Issues. + Show Spoiler + One of the problems is lack of communication before the game begins. We just hop on the games and don't tell our intentions. It's always "tlnet2///123 need 2 moar" and just waiting for the game begins. I have not seen anyone telling "well guys, I want to get better at AD Carrying, would someone with experience in the bot lane play against me or with me?". (Actually, I heard this just once, from Bezelheim, so I went support with him to give him a hand, but that was when we were making picks and bans already). There's also the fact that sometimes we just cant stop the urge to troll people, like picking Cho against 5HIT so he can't get it or banning Zyra against Wasabi when he wanted to get better with her. Another thing that buggers me a lot is that there's always a member that does not connect to TeamSpeak or simply refuses to do that - one of the reasons that game with 5HIT was so frustrating was the fact that two of our teammates were not in TS, and we got pretty frustrated at some point because we could only communicate decently with 3/5ths of our team. A lot of things could have gone differently if we could just talk with eachother. Another story about that: I was playing Varus one game and I was, I believe, 13/2/x with him. No one was on TS and something that I'm looking to improve is exactly my decision making AFTER laning phase. There was literally no one in my team giving me advice - I only got very good advice on the after game lobby after we LOST the game. stxz and Yango helped me out, but I fear we couldve win if one or two of the more seasoned players in our team like Milo could be with me in TS giving orders or just giving good old advice. 2. Telling someone that he is a dbag does not help ANYONE to step up their game. + Show Spoiler + Mindset is a part of playing this game as well. A cool-headed team is way better than a hot-blooded one going for their throats, and being more comprehensive with our fellow players goes a long, long way. People complain about 5HIT raging so much, but instead of asking themselves 'why is he acting like that?' or 'Well, maybe that's something he could try to improve and we should help him' they just shrug it off with comments such as we've seen in this thread. Should he try to reduce his rage? Damn right. But people also need to understand why someone is having such a reaction - 5HIT is hot-blooded, but most of his rages have legitimate reason. The same way of thought is valid for JingleHell. I know he's a noob and I also know that he is overly sensitive about the way you approach him with advice. But telling him he is a douchebag does not help him improve at all. Sometimes people just want a little more respect than "what the hell are you doing". With that said, Jingle, having a guy that you're somehow trying to help giving you attitude is, well, rage inducing. Fix that. Be more humble. I would write a 3. about try-harding and this being a PRACTICE environment, but it's almost 4am here and I need to sleep. tl;dr 1. People need to say their intentions in the game lobby. 2. People need to use the TS moar. 3. People need to be more patient with one another. 4. 5HIT should continue playing In-Houses while working on his temper. 5. JingleHell needs to play more of the game, not necessarily in the in-houses and be less sensitive when people react about his play. 6. Tapioca losing while try-harding was, indeed, fun. 7. This tl;dr is gigantic. DSG out.

i 100% agree we need to make our intentions clear if we're going to legitimately practice or if we're going to just trollhouse. like that one game where there were like, 3 of you that went revive teleport or something like that. rofl. i mean, we still got rolled (i still don't even know how. lolol.) and it was pretty good fun, but at the same time, our team was legitimately strategizing and everything going into the game, and once we saw the summoner spells, it just kinda fell apart, and we kinda went with it and did some of our own stupid shit lol. or maybe you guys were treating that as a legitimate strategy (i doubt it) and our team just kinda treated it as troll builds and such. point being, for the most part, if we know we're going into a game for serious practice or serious derping, these situations won't happen.

I think common sense needs to be the key thing here. It's unreasonable to expect people to not try to make optimal plays when the purpose is to learn. However, if you're completely curb-stomping someone, after a certain point there becomes little left to learn. The onus I feel should be on the more experienced player to exercise judgement and determine what that point is as they are more able to understand what is going on. Communication is very important. Before the game starts, try to establish what the learning objective is. Afterwards, try to go over the game and what lessons can be taken from it. The LoL Chat system is probably not the best venue as it's hard to type long paragraphs about it, although it's good for simple Q&A stuff. I'll get access to client again in August and I'm fine with dropping in now and then to help out. Might make some of the lanes more even for newer players since I don't have runes yet. I'll see if I can drop in tonight and help give advice to anyone or maybe tell them what they should focus on. Tag is GGod I for one would really appreciate that. ------------------------------------------- Also, that triple revive "8v3" game we played......yeah......that was bad.

That triple revive game was because your jungler kept ganking jjonga even though his top lane revive tp soraka was already like 0-6. Then we got pretty big by playing a 4v3 essentially ;P. Had you just left him at 0-3 or something and just ignored him and pushed down his outer or even inner turrets the game would've been much different. Also, a lot of people on your team just randomly got caught over and over which led to the end of the game ;P

We can still have those. Just seperate from the liquidpractice channel so that people don't expect those kind of games in there. Not as fun without Tapioca going old AP Nidalee and still losing though.

Recently, my ranked 5s team has fallen apart due to a variety of reasons (lack of chemistry, lack of practice time, Dungeon Defenders, etc), and as a result Nubpancakes, myself, and our solo-top are looking for people to do serious ranked 5s with. Though Nubpancakes and I are currently sitting at the mid-1400s ELO, I don't really think we belong there, and I think our performances against top players from this practice channel during some of the more try-hard inhouses are a testament to that. I've come here to seek players who are interested, as both Nubpancakes and I have had great fun during the inhouses, and have seen a great number of quality players who are eager to have fun and improve. Therefore, we're looking for a jungler and a mid who's skills are at about a 1600-1800 level, and would be willing to practice with us as 5 about 5 times a week during nighttime. Once we do form a team, I think it'd be nice to scrim against players of the same calibre as us :D tl;dr -> Looking for a 1600-1800 jungler and mid who would be interested in ranked 5s, contact me through either PM here or add Incka as a friend in LoL. thanks for your time lolol

We'd make fun of tapioca for tryharding and losing though, and he'd try to defend himself like "it's tankazar!" (RoA, rylais, banshees, sunfire, and zhonyas ring). Maybe you didn't play with spudparty groups? o.o; It was good fun, and I just used that time to practice mechanics and joke around with friends. Really good stress reliever.
