Late game bird is the same as pretty much any stage bird, except she does more damage late game obviously. Her utility is just ridiculously consistent, especially when you have lvl 5 wall. She doesn't deal the damage Karthus does, but he doesn't have her utility, so it kinda offsets to me.
Ryze is a tanky mofo late game.

Dont know if I understood right but I think you're doing something wrong if you are consistenly shoved under your own turret as Karthus.

Ended up with Sona on an ARAM yesterday, started tear+boots and manamune+calice after first death, she's so OP. And now they'll allow her to chain skills even faster provided she's got some CDR? Wow.
I'm sad about the ult change tho, how do I sneakily ks without the DoT ticking during the focus? 
Also last time I wanted to try and train my Ori I went up against an AP Trist. Made the mistake to stand too close to my minions while trying to get a last hit, ate 2-3 E passive damage when she killed mine, then despite chugging a pot I was dead at level 2, and after that there was literally nothing I could do, that was like playing Pantheon against a Malphite coming to lane with an abyssal scepter. So frustrating. :<

I'm pretty sure some rioter said that although E passive is getting the AP ratio, the passive triggering from her abilities is unintentional and is going to get fixed. Its only supposed to proc from her auto killing the creep. So no more tristana jumping into the minion wave and one-shotting you which practically kills AP trist.

When flash has a long cd and your escape sucks and limited mana pool compared to common pushing champions you need that tower to protect you before your smarties start to chunk away their health. After Catalyst + Blue you will be fine.

That is sorta what I am mean the difference between Karthus and bird is not big enough that the sheer amount of cc that bird can put out is nullified by the damage difference. Ryze is all about hitting key targets late game which is insanely hard with Karthus.

Thats absolutely wrong , jungle karthus has one of the fastest clear times and is often played at the 2300+ bracket in euw. He has fallen off popularity now but there was a time where he was picked every third game. Even snoopeh played him quite often.

jungle karthus gets wrecked by counterjunglers early on. he's very very squishy and super reliant on blue buff. jungle karth was somewhat viable when everyone was playing farm-y junglers.

When you use gate to gank other lanes and you need that yellow card, you first pick the card and then teleport into them, or do you use gate and then pick the card?

Malphite in general is very strong at the moment, after hazard played him alot at MLG I see a Malph in every 2nd game now... Like earlier today we had a relatively even game with me being even with Ryze vs Ahri mid and Malph top doing ok vs singed, with a few kills here and there, there was an unlucky engagement though at dragon where the enemy vayne got 4 kills and started to wreck our team.
Told malph to just ult Vayne even if hes standing alone, flash rune prison >GG that ult+ AS debuff on ad carries is just too strong. Too bad they are nerfing him though, just bought glacial malphite wtf!

Yea, but he's playing at around the 1300-1400 level, so outs killing your opponent is a very real possibility. In general vs malls as panth sucks, hard. But it's not necessarily an auto loss, especially not in lower Elos where everyone makes mistakes.

Maybe one day I can have the pleasure of facing jungle Karthus, I can't imagine him doing anything vs someone like udyr or mundo or something. who could just invade and shit on him at any time really
