Yeah that one makes absolutely zero sense to me, lol. Where do you see that one? Only notes I see are just champs. http://summonermatch.com/patchnotes.phpScroll down to the bottom, between "Orianna" and "Skins". Oh, lol, missed it on there.
Eh, seems dumb to me. It looks like they don't want supports/tanky Gp10 starters to get as much from Philo/HoG, but I dunno why. Maybe they want to encourage other items to open with, but I think most supports are still going to want the Gp10.

why did they nerf gp5 items? man, now playing support is going to be harder-er.

Philo maybe, but that's because the buildup from Philo to Shurelya's is much smoother than HoG->Randuins. At this point, when I'm buying Randuin's I'll be going Warden's first. The gold generation from HoG isn't going to be worth how far behind the curve its stats are.

gp10 nerfs just going to push junglers and bruisers further into irrelevance, while AD carries run even more rampant wouldn't surprise me if they changed Last Whisper back to how it used to be next

Probably had more to do with GP5 becoming increasingly popular on everyone except AD carries.

I've said this for ages, but the only reason support gp10 feels necessary is because people don't take enough gold from creeps on supports. In the scheme of your team's gold, the gp10 from HoG is pretty much inconsequential, and you can easily make up the gold difference by taking a few creeps here and there from lanes/jungle. The gold gen doesn't outweigh the fact that a) it has shit immediate cost-efficiency, and b) in the hands of a support, it's effectively a dead-end item because supports by and large won't build Randuin's.
Honestly I see no reason why a support would buy HoG anymore. Get Kindlegem, have Shurelya's in time for teamfights in the 15-20 minute range, rather than needing to wait till 20-25 mins.

We just force the lane into a farmlane stalemate, and my friend superior last hitting abilities + gp10 = buying IE and triforce in one go.

I tend to build my support health heavy, HoG+kindlegem is always nice. Not to mention HoG builds into locket of iron solari (which pretty undervalued item). Also, I don't like rushing Shurelya's, the unique active is one of the best in the game, but often in midgame skirmishes are usually 3v3, and are rarely as positionally important as 5's.

Then buy a Giant's Belt or Aegis components. It takes 10+ minutes for HoG to break even with Giant's Belt now--and with support gold generally getting you HoG at around the 15 minute mark, there's too much shit that happens in the 15-25 minute range for that 10 minute buildup to being even breakeven to be acceptable.

E's damage largely comes from the base damage for a very LONG time. Even when you're at 200+ armor, E's base damage comprises the majority of the damage, not the scaling.

You do AoE damage based on % health and get shield (I think 300 at max rank) per person hit, so 1500 health shield at max rank if you hit all 5.

Yeah he probably needed to be tweaked a little, but I feel like this is Riot overreacting to his recent surge in popularity. They're butchering him here..

So, this is more in general than relating to the jayce patch, but its probably too small to warrent a thread of its own.
When do you want to push your lane? I read in guides all the time that you want to either push or let the wave push against certain champions and I just dont know why. I always try to freeze the lane right in front of my tower and last hit because it's easier to avoid jungle ganks, and I never know when I SHOULD be pushing. So in general;
What are the reasons for pushing a wave earlier than when you're planning to take a tower When do you make the decision to go for the tower?

While that's nice and all, I don't think the minion AI was what was holding him back from being top pick. It'll help, but exactly how much remains to be seen.

o man ad malz is back. when you have some items and the pets actually do what you tell them you do insane damage.
