The less you think about it, the better it will go.

I can only imagine how absurd an AD caster item is to balance, since most AD casters (Graves, Renek, Riven, Yorick, Panth, Darius, for example) are already very strong. I'm sure we'll see one down the line, but not too quickly.

Ya basically 50/50 win rate right now in the 1500s. I never really believed in elo hell and most 1500+ agree that breaking 1200 is a piece of cake but i dunno man, I found the 1100s incredibly terror. Atleast past 1200 I felt like I had an impact on the game.
I was doing this game, predicting win rate based on summoners spells, assuming the good choices are flash/ghost on each person, ignite on all laners except exhaust on support and counting the number of spells that don't correspond (barring something like exhaust or tele on karthus). Just from that I predicted a good 90% of the games. I know I was the only constant but on a game to game basis every single result seemed predetermined.

I highly doubt it because Xyphie is really, really cool to talk with. That, and also Eve top is something that was specifically tested for during her remake so if he were he'd have said to wait until after the remake.

Requizen is somewhat right here. Experimentation and testing is incredibly difficult. You not only have to get the "feel" right, you then have to get the nitty-gritty numbers balance right. If something just doesn't end up working, you scrap it and start all over again. The stealth rework had a lot of that "start all over again" involved, which is why it took a long time. Hopefully you guys will feel that it was worth the wait!
As a side note though, AD Caster balancing is inherently harder than AP Caster balancing. The main reason is simply that an AD Caster can also auto-attack you in-between their spells, and their autos are going to hurt since they're scaling off AD in the first place. A lot of people forget the auto-component of these champions, especially at lower levels of play, which can disguise the power of these champions. Riven is probably an example of an AD Caster done right (although initially her numbers were off).
I dont believe in Elo Hell either, meaining that you'll get eventually to your "true" elo but It's sadly reality that in the 1100-1200 you have a lot of ranked beginners+ PPL who actually believe in elo hell that get frustrated and troll/afk, though I know that there are those @ 1800too and even at 2.2k+

There's like 2 kinds of people, those who play the game and try to improve themselves instead of blaming everything else, and then there are the spoiled immature twats who think they stuck in elo hell and afk because you bought an item they didn't like.

So after watching Soniv face RumbleMidSmurf I've become convinced that Rumble's flamethrower needs a graphical update. It's not a matter of simple aesthetics, but visual range. The flames move at a set velocity from Rumble, but the flames themselves aren't the damage trigger. As a result the range is deceptive, Rumble can be hitting you even though the flames never come close to you.
The flames should move at a far, far greater velocity and possibly be relative to Rumble's current model position. That would make them both easier to direct and to avoid.
Was just playing as WW support. I think he's not bad as support, the vision E gives, after an engage but no deaths,is really really strong. Also Q all day, win trades, also good steroid with W.
Just some thoughts.... nunu probably better support for better reasons, since his debuff on snowball is so strong.

Personally, I've just gotten use to it. Though I agree that it should be more responsive to its actual damage range, similar to corki's gatlinggun, but the problem is it wouldn't look quite as natural.

wasn't that mentioned in a patchnote or developer note somewhere? i think they are going to update it soon, because i agree completely

Yeah, but as someone who doesn't play against Rumble often (anyone who isn't top lane) it really fucks with you. D=

If anything, Rumble's flamethrower looks unnatural because it moves too slowly. The flamethrower in the video is traveling at least 4-6x as far as the person is tall, and is doing so in about half the time it takes Rumble's flamethrower to travel a distance that is only about as far as Rumble, mech and all, is tall.

The main problem here is that WW sucks without money. The quality of a support is not only defined by his first few levels, and how good you are when fed, but also by how good you are if the enemy decides not to feed your lane early, and both sides just farm. For example, a Janna or leona can do pretty good without any additional money income just by using their spells, but a WW without money is pretty much useless. What are you going to do, stand back and use W as an aura and reveal people with e? You can't get close to the enemy as a WW without money, so you can't use your ult or q unless the fight is already decided, else you just explode within seconds without actually having done a lot.
If Leona without money goes into a teamfight, she will always get her combo off, spread her passiv onto the enemy team and stun/slow a lot of guys, and still be rather tanky due to W. If she dies after she used her combo, its not that bad either. WW needs money to be tanky enough to survive a bit in their team, and use his q to heal/r to cc and do a bit of damage. Early laning is not what defines a good support, since there are a lot of champions who would be more useful at lvl 1-5 or so in lane then a support buying gp10 and lots of wards. A support needs to be able to be useful without money, or you have an allin killlane. That can work, too, but it is a completely different thing.

aram, dominion, etc Apparently "fun" to most people is only defined as follow the leader, going brave, or building an AD champ AP (or visa-versa) ?

Arams are good but i miss the constant arab games tbh.
To me, winning is the ultimate fun. I take every game seriously in that I always try to do my best, never troll, disrupt or flame the other players. If you don't want to do your best in a competitive (and unforgiving) game such as LoL, you should just play something else.
Having said that, I think that is BP's point? You can "have fun and not think about ELO" while still not being a complete asshat.
