I think jax is the missing picture for top. Also I think that there is a lot of error in the charts. The chart has no way of telling if kennen or morde went top or mid, or if nunu went mid or bot for one thing. It also is representative of the majority of players, so if you have a different playstyle than the majority or do different builds that may or may not be better than the standard, then these numbers don't apply to you. You run into some of the common problems of applying too much math to anything. | ||

also they should have changed Akalis default, not just fucked around with the skins glad of the tf change though, his new art they had was just ridiculously stupid looking which WW and Trist skins did they change? I dont even see any changes right off | ||

There are definitely going to be trolls who abuse this. At Elos where you have very long queues and there are few people queuing, doding an AFK costs you a significant amount of time and/or ends up placing you back into the same matchup. The problem is that auto-randoming someone doesn't make sense the way drafting is implemented in LoL. It's a holdover from how drafting was done in DotA (if you go over the allotted time, your hero gets auto-randomed), but in DotA, drafting is all done by the captain, rather than going through players in sequence, so the only requirement is that the captain doesn't AFK. If you don't select a hero AT ALL during the allotted time, it should re-queue everyone and kick you out of queue. If you want to hard random, you still have the option to lock in nothing. Auto-randoming simply doesn't make sense in solo queue in this context. | ||

I'd guess some factors that need to be taken into consideration is that uncommon champions give you a knowledge advantage, because you will almost always know the matchup better then your enemy, and chances are if you are playing a non-mainstream champion there is a reason to it (counterpick, you are really good with that champion, etc...), while if you play a mainstream champion it might just be because he is mainstream. | ||

High elo queues can get pretty long, a lot of those players do other stuff while waiting, and also focus on a single role/lane in terms of champion picks. But yes as I mentioned I don't think they should accommodate AFKers. | ||
