seriously, doublelift makes the best fucking plays I've ever seen. Seriously, if that was anyone else, they would've just straight up arcane shifted + flashed' out. BUT NOPE. MAN MODE. Waits till last possible second to flash into bush, INSTA-gibs the MF, then walks out and fights j4 like a boss.
Most people wouldn't have double dorans and Zerkers and IE at 15:30 either, though, and most people probably wouldn't hit that one 25% chance crit(Though he did have 2 chances) that saves them vs MF.
yea it was pretty impressive, not many players can do that, sure. but to be fair he was 5-0 prior to that play. Not to mention J4 waited a really long time to ult and missed his first knock-up.
I'm pretty sure j4 waited on ult for dl's flash to be burnt.

He'd have killed DL if he ulted as soon as he gained vision of him in the brush. He waited just long enough for Janna to get in range
going boots 4 pots is countered by the top team's solo top going cloth 5 pots and stealing the golums. He'll get to level 3 before the 4 pot boots solo top gets to level 2. Its why lee sin is such a super strong solo top team pick for pro teams who get the top position on the map.
I wonder what the over/under on Tuesday being new champ is. Probably not, since we haven't heard anything nor seen him on PBE, but it has been nearly a month since Draven.

I've been spamming Akali in blind pick normals and keep getting matched against Renekton (clue me in if there is a way to counter Ren w/ Akali, I haven't found it yet). I've got into the habit of just farming under tower as best as I can with the intent of letting the tower fall to free me up for roaming. Push my lane out until I meet resistance, then try to start unfair fights in other ppls lanes and prune any untended jungle camps - return to lane when it's near my 2nd tower again. It's working out pretty well, but I know there is a definite loss of cs in my lane and I can't always rely on my jungler leaving his camps uncleared. I wouldn't do this mid, btw.
I'm enjoying learning first hand why some matchups are no-goes, way better than reading some list on a forum. Just don't wanna pick up bad habits. What's the consensus?
Also, first post. Sup.

I've personally become a big fan of running gp10, when losing lane, and trying to last hit under turret.
So as far as the akali vs renekton lane, you probably have very low kill potential against him, just due to his nature of his tankiness.
I'd probably approach it this way, start boot-3pot, see how the lane turns out. If I'm getting faced smashed in, and can't get that much farm, I start buying HoG, Kage's lucky pick, both good items, that give both stats and gp10. Now at this point you've pretty much said "FUCK IT, I'm not going to bother fucking killing you, I'm just going to make more gold than you, and become more useful in team fighting phase" Then think about getting really cost effective items, such as sheen and phage, hell you might want to just buy madreds razor just for better last hitting and some armor. Hopefully you'll be able to ride out mid game by playing like a panzy, and farming, and eventually you'll find yourself with a larger gold pool than your opponent.
i don't mean to resurrect the specter of gp5 discussions but i find that when you are losing your lane going gp5 is typically disastrous. If you've fed your opponent a real item and you're sitting in lane with a hog and an amplifying tone you aren't even going to be able to get experience.

really? I've never really quite have that problem in mid lane, in top lane it can punished pretty hard, but the gp10 usually makes up for loss cs. and with akali, invis shroud thingy should keep you in xp range for almost all of it.
Why does the Korean server display times over 59 seconds in minutes:seconds format? Or is it possible to change that in the client and I just haven't looked hard enough?
