That it would. I'm also adding game length, because without that, CS totals mean nothing ^.^

Not late at all! I just got home.
I know fairly little about website designing (aside from some VERY basic high school HTML), but I think it would be awesome to make this into a site that people could go to to track and share their own progress. Once I get the template laid out the way I want to, if anyone (who has actual knowledge of website designing) would want to take on a project like that with me, that would be great.

Liquidparty inhouses, let's make it happen! Maybe we can coordinate a scheduled time in which everyone logs on with the goal being to get in house games going. I'd be willing to make a thread and manage it. Doo iiiiit. ^_^ We should also make a TL C for scrubs like me. Best part is that the name is puny... I would be SO IN.
I think alot of people only really respond to the big major tournaments.
An all TL Team would be pretty cool though, theres alot more members on the LoL section now then there was back when it was just 1 thread i imagine
I wasn't really clear what I meant by 'events' I guess. While I did include the smaller tourneys people post on here, people in other communities (again, most notably reddit, but others as well) often try to get fun custom games togehter (ie Catch the Teemo or whatever) and mini tournaments for bragging rights (ie 1v1 mid tournament for example) rather than just ones organized by a small company or sponsor for minimal RP.
I just feel like in general we're either...I dunno...too 'elitist' to have simple fun like that, or people are generally apathetic about non-pro league type stuff.
Could be wrong though.

Are we gonna get the Mad Baron Nashor with new patch tonight in EU?

Bah, we don't need 'dem bugs either, if they didn't roll back so they could test no need to test on EU servers to, is it?

What I'd recommend for the US guys about inhouses: a) Make a new channel for it (probably a good idea since I heard so many bad stories about LP not having that many TL people in it anymore) b) Make a thread for it, make sure to report total douchecannoes in terms of behavior there (a few guys have to doublecheck and take care of that) c) If that's still not enough set a certain time/date where people should be around d) ??? e) Profit.
The big problem with few people is not that teams will be unbalanced overall, but that some lanes will end up being pretty damn stupid. However, that's also a great learning environment.
The goal is that such a setting enables you to meet new people easily, you chat around on vent and maybe if you find some guys you like you can start a team and play some arranged ranked games. Shouldn't be that hard. =S
PS: EU inhouses are more like "LOL SO MANY PEOPLE ONLINE IH LETS GO", then someone starts inviting and then one of the teams gets stomped and laughed at. The end.

You need to reach more than 100 people with the idea, so that the <20% that would be interested can make up a decent bracket.
Believe me, I used to organize just-for-fun 1v1 tournies for another game, and I can't imagine you'd get the needed people just from TL. Maybe for a one-time event, but not bi-weekly or anything in that direction.

in terms of improving gameplay, i would be willing to occasionally game, obs, and duo with peoples who are interested in improving (preferably above 1400) on NA. i dont have enough time to grind games for myself atm but have access to a series of accounts of varying elo from 1400 to 2200. please PM or i will start another thread or something.

@soniv, I think total gpm (gold per minute), gold from cs and gold from kills/assists are pretty cool stats to have. :>

For all the people who want to start tracking elo you might find some pointers here. clicky Some guy on reddit tracked his ELO for quite some time. Another wanted to see when he got a 60% win ratio or something.
On the subject of LoL not having that same feel that you can improve yourself in a vaccum, there are some games in SC where I feel like I make the right moves but lose anyways. But yeah, it make sense. However I don't see how DoTA lets you have more of an impact if you support well. You're still a fifth of the team. Unless you're not supporting, in which case I've heard DoTA carries are stronger than LoL carries..

From my experience in DotA supports have a way stronger impact on the game (and are way more fun to play) compared to League. Most supports have strong CC, early burst or both and can completely snowball the game out of control by ganking and roaming.
Even if you don't roam/gank a lot you have lots of things to do in terms of denying, harassing and creep stacking/pulling, it's really fun and you feel more valuable compared to League where you're just everyones bitch. Instead you can 100-0 carries for the first third of the game or set up insane ganks. Feels way better to me.

I feel like the existence of a TL C precludes 'trying out.' At this point I feel like we're just using the name and creating little subteams, no? If someone actually wants to get this together I'd be all for it. My best role is probably AP carry but even that lately has been falling behind my standards, so I wouldn't mind picking up any role and learning it/improving for the team.

Unless you're not supporting, in which case I've heard DoTA carries are stronger than LoL carries.. Um well i play support in dota as well, however supporting in dota is a lot different than supporting in LoL.
For instance, in dota, Lich is a support hero. http://www.dota2wiki.com/wiki/Lich
if you don't care to read that then here is a summary of lich spells:
Single target nuke/slow that does additional damage in an aoe around the target. (up to 200 to a single target 150 in an aoe)
Armor buff that slows any attacking melee units (9 armor which is roughly like adding 50 armor in LoL)
Sacrifice a friendly creep to restore his mana (free denial)
His ulti is brands ultimate, except it interrupts channeling on primary target, and slows whoever is hit. does up to 460 damage per bounce, 7 bounces total.
Lich can completely dominate his lane for a carry/initiator that he is laning with, he denies two creeps before the first wave gets to lane, and can control alot of space and pull creeps (bringing minions to attack jungle camps) exceptionally well. in team fights a good lich ulti can actually wipe all the squishies. In addition lich can build Urn of Shadows if he starts to go ganking and Mekansm. Urn gets charges when things die near you and you can expend charges to deal 150 DOT or 400 HOT that dispels on taking damage over 8 seconds, Mekansm heals 250 in an aoe with a 45 second cooldown.
Pretty much lich (who is a rather easy support and not often played but still strong), can decide the game for his team, while buying wards and not taking farm from a lane mate.

The issue with a Google Doc is that I would have to personally manage adding each and every person to be able to edit. And I don't want everyone to be able to edit everyone else's spreadsheets.
Making a website is seriously something I'd consider doing if I had someone's help.
