I remember when TSM did HoG stacking. Literally everyone, including Chaox, built a HoG or two. From memory Chaox only had one, Regi had two, but TRM and OddOne both had like three HoGs and so did Xpecial. Really hard to kill any of them because of the health+armor and it made them all get "fed." Was a crazy smart strategy, kind of curious about who on TSM came up with it or who they stole it from.

Iunno if they came up with the strat, but if they did, it was prolly Chaox who thought of it up. He's generally the theorycrafter on TSM.
I remember when everyone would build like 2 philos and 2-3 hogs. It was ridiculous.

LET EVERYONE LISTEN TO THIS.
I hope, this weekend, I served as an example of when not to requeue. I tilted hard the past couple days, although not without my fair share of being trolled. But fear not. I HAVE FAITH. I will return to you all. I shall restore my honor, my dignity. I will take my laser-y throne back!

There's a secret to winning easily in solo queue. As long as you just follow it, you're guaranteed at least 2.2K elo. More actually. There are many examples that this formula for playing works.

So, I'm getting more and more convinced that the level 1 jungle game is flawed. Losing your Red Buff when starting Wolves -> Blue can ruin your game and you had no way to do anything about it.
If your laner goes straight to their tower, or waits for an extra health pot, then there is a hole in your jungle not being watched. If the enemy team sees that there is no-one watching the entrance, they can walk in for free, steal the buff and leave.
If someone watches that entrance, I may still lose the buff; however, I can adjust accordingly and go to the enemies Red Buff. Walking to your buff only to realise it is gone can ruin your entire game because that snowballs away from you. It didn't take skill from your opponents to walk in to an uncontested buff and take it, yet they gained a huge advantage from it and lost nothing.
And, this is completely disregarding level 1 invades, which are completely random depending on how the teams picked and, once again, can snowball a game away from a jungler.

oh really? What's the secret?

Mods can see edits, right? So numbers is basically nude in the eyes of neo. All his secrets revealed.

I'm gonna assume this formula doesn't include flipping your shit, saying "fucking it, i'm done" and then clicking "play again", right? ^.^

You just pick Mundo. I should try to make it work with Nautilus too, tho. Dude's so fun to gank with. And he dives into the middle of 5 people, never giving a fuck, a lot better than Blitz. Not as well as Mumu but mummy gives fucks about it. Except when it's played by Teut. Then it just carries 4 sorry TL feeders on its tiny back.
I guess the secret is to play mummy in ranked like Teut plays him in normals, then.

I'd say you're just taking the Soniv strat to a new level: feed games, then win more later.

Ok so I'm about to ask a serious question but I have a feeling you guys are going to think it's a troll....
But anyways, here goes:
If I were to play Sona mid, which I did a lot this weekend, do you think it would be better to go Manamune + T-Force, or AA and Lich Bane? I think both would work just fine, but which do you think is more viable. I have been going the AD route, but maybe the AP route would be better because she has some actual AP ratios, even if they are shit. The main source of damage from either way would still be her power chord with Q + sheen proccing item ofc, but I'm not sure....
What do you guys think?
|
I like AD Sona more than AP Sona but that's just me.

Probably this. Get Sheen first, finish Trinity, build standard AD stuff. Better than AP Sona if you're gonna go mid Sona imo.

I doubt you actually need the manamune, just get trinity.

The best AD Sona builds I've seen have involved extremely high attack speed rather than proc or damage-based builds. 2-dblades, Wriggle's, 2 Phantom Dancers. No clue how, but it carried soooo hard.

More like lose plat then carry so hard they make a new "diamond" level elo bracket.

I used to think mumu jungle was really bad after hearing saintvicious. But I've been trying him in ranked lately. Gotten games vs shyvana, mundo and lee already and never lost jungle. I think he's pretty strong. Lots of damage and utility in teamfights, great 1v1 esp with red, sick ganks, clears pretty fast and isn't as reliant on blue as people think. Granted those were games at only 1700 elo.

TOO also hates amumu. I think he has a video titled "Amumu the crybaby" or something.

saint has a habit of assuming that any jungler he can't play sucks he's been trying to pick up amumu recently though definitely viable, but the wait inbetween your ults (not being able to force objectives in those times unless fed) is quite long lategame beast for sure
