currently trying my hand at commentary. Care to review my test video? I know the video is stuttering a little, but I'm fixing up another computer tomorrow that should be able to handle it. I know that I wasn't "in it" at the beginning, but after a couple minutes my commentary flows much better, I think... Anyways, any tips are more than welcome! | ||

The biggest piece of advice I can give is that when you're commentating, have a goal in mind. Why are you commentating? What are you trying to communicate? Right now it seems very off-the-cuff, where you're just describing what you saw on screen. Unless the view is new to the game, they can likely figure out most of the information themselves. Commentary is supposed to add value to the game. So decide on what kind of value you want to add, who your target audience is, and work from there. Are you trying to add insight and explain what is going on and why players make certain decisions and what they could do better? Are you just trying to make watching a game entertaining and interesting? Are you just trying to explain the game to new players? Etc. But LoL is nowhere close to Osu! in terms of stress on your hands... Luckily Osu! encourages you to take short breaks frequently. | ||
