Guy doesn't scare me at all. You just need to realize that his flame thrower does damage and not stand in it. Anyone with good sustain is fine, a gap closer jump helps. I think even Irelia will be fine, just play passive and farm like always. Jungler comes and kills and then you just kill him every time he comes in range when he's a level or so behind. | ||

You walk into melee range, you eat one tick of flamethrower, grats, wave will be pushed for the next forever. Farm at tower. The only way he can harass you is under your tower and even if he wards that's like a free kill for jungler or mid at any time from any direction. You just need enough MR (quints and blues flat at least) that any harass you do take won't kill you. Like you just need to realize that the second he presses Q once you can sit at tower and lose maybe 1-2 cs before it comes to tower. The best he can hope for is that your jungler is always too busy to gank and even then he'll just have a cs advantage. (Although it's hard for rumble to farm under your tower, as soon as his Q is on cd you can do whatever you want and he can't do anything until his CD is up unless you're low enough to ult and chase) I mean, if you die once, I can understand how the lane can snowball. Any time you do anything to him he already has revolver from the kill, and you lose so much hp since you don't have any gold to buy mr or any hp from levels that any time you eat any significant harass he can tower dive you. If the jungler comes and your 20% he double kills because he's fed from kill xp and gold and free farm. However you just need enough mr and sustain to keep dead even until you have enough MR to jump him and then outsustain his revolver or make him low enough for a gank = intsagib. Revolver sustain rumble isn't that high. If you chunk him he can get zoned VERY easily (farming with his E) Theoretically a jungler waiting for counter gank would counter the whole wait for jungler thing, but I've had games where my jungler has sat mid and bot all game getting kills and shit, and I've just sit top even csing with rumble and their jungler at best can push tower 2v1, and other games jungler ganks once fairly early and suddenly rumble is just fucked. | ||

He always reacts to things as well. He always asks questions and tries to be in position for buffs even when they haven't decided to contest, meanning he could be flat out missing farm. Similarly if someone asks for a gank he will try to help them straight away and not bother waiting for the best time. | ||

I mean, I hear in dota you can stack farm on carries who can 1v5, but carries in LoL are nothing like that they just get insta gibbed so you need a whole team to be useful. Even the supports get gold items so they can have some items and they are picked because they don't need items that much. Junglers are usually really item dependent and giving your AP 50 cs and losing 50 yourself isn't necessarily good, and giving him 25 when you could have gotten 50 is always bad. In fact sometimes I have mid laners like leblanc who camp bottom and just let me farm mid and the combination of me getting super fed and their ad carry getting destroyed makes it like a free win in teamfights. (mid laners are much better gankers than junglers ) | ||
