And the bad ones are fucking BAD and die in 2 seconds. I'd be like the Akali FOTM all over again, only instead running into the same "it doesnt matter if akali is bad and 0-5 in lane, she just goes into teamfight gets 5 kills and builds a gunblade and wins" it'll be "swain is bad and 0-5 and just dies." | ||

He doesn't like destroy anyone mid Hoooh man, you do not want to see the utter backdooring Swain vs Karthus/Annie/Kassadin/Ryze is. And anyone he gets an upper hand on (whether through a mistake or jungle gank). Once Swain gets a level or gold advantage, his opponent is pretty much done without help. There's just no way to straight up trade with him. | ||

But he doesn't like crush people mid or out push people like Cass or Morg. And about the blue buff changes, I don't think they had Anivia/Swain in mind when they nerfed it. They just didn't want it to give champions infinite mana late game. It's not like Anivia or Swain were super common picks at the pro level anyways. Morello even said that they feel the blue buff changes was unfair to them and so they were looking at their toggle ults. It still has a purpose because it means champions like Cass can't just spam shit with blue late game. I don't think the nerf was at all targeted at the champions it hurt the most (i.e., Swain/Anivia). | ||

As an aside, how on earth was Swain not considered overpowered before his Bird Form nerf? I can't comprehend losing with a Swain that heals as much on minions as champions and doesn't abate by Exhaust. On paper Lux would do really really well in this type of comp, but it's hard to justify picking her because she hits a wall so early. What do you mean by that? | ||

Except both swain and ryze have ults that heal them anyways so having them both in your teamcomp basically makes it a TRIPLE wota or some shit. | ||

HotshotGG ran him with great success in tournies and in scrims prior to the nerf. It wasn't that he wasn't op though, it's just that Swain has never been that popular of a champion. | ||
