Annie and Ashe are 450 and great for ap and ad carry. Soraka is a 450 support. WW IIRC is 1350 and the best jungle to learn on. Plus you can play him top lane too.

Play Free Week champs until you find one (or more) you LOVE playing, look up a guide on solomid (or other reputable guide source) and try to emulate better players. Once you get an idea of how to build champions for general roles, you can start winging your builds a bit more to tailor your champions strengths to your playstyle.
Ah I didn't know about WW jungle, that's cool I'll definitely look into that. The pre ranked games are kinda hard to get solo top lane but jungle is always open so I wanted to try that out first. In my dota clan and pubs I generally solo mid but solo mid in dota and solo mid in LoL are so vastly different I think the comparison doesn't help me out :<

Ahri is fun and a highly competitive pick right now. Not really your 1-hit KO nuker and somewhat reliant on skillshots so you'll most likely enjoy playing her. That said she's definitely a nuker carry, but I feel like that shouldn't be a problem really. A carry in dota and a carry in LoL play out differently. Most

Eh it's more for the heavy trolling which is definitely understandable, but for instance when the enemy team FPd kassadin and I ask if I can gangplank mid and if AP could bot for example they all were okay with it etc. because that's a good plan

If you have a lot of experience with dota-style games then you should just go ahead and learn twisted fate for solo mid, a 1350 champion. He carries hella hard and pretty much just ult-gank anytime a lane is committing to a fight and get fed.
Twisted fate, haven't seen him in the games I watched maybe that's why I didn't know about him. Sounds just like a NS or BM which I play a lot and love. Thanks for the advice guys!

yeah i just don't like to recommend ryze to new players cuz he build super different from standard AP
I've tried Ryze and he just felt boring. I mean he can do a ton of damage and has that nice snare it's just not the cool stuff I think of when I picture LoL heroes. He feels almost like CM from dota :<. If CM could go mid and own shit up.

I wont play certain champs in normals, mostly LB and Kassadin, its just not fair to put them out there without the other team having an opportunity to counter them, and with shitty normal communication people just can handle them. It just a douche move to go into normals and play LB if you dont suck with her, it ruins games.
The only other character I wont play is Vlad. Its obnoxious to lane against him with him healing all the time, no fun skillshots or abilities to watch for. And he's not fun to play at all either, you just QEQEQEQEQE in every situation. He is just not fun or interesting in the slightest.

While I like one sided games, I feel a lot better after close games. It's not about winning without really trying for some people, I like playing competitive games for the challenge.
