Fizz is really good, but it's not just that people don't play him enough so he's underpracticed, but it's also that (in my experience anyways) he has a lot of bad matchups. In said bad matchups he simply gets wrecked to the point where he will have 0 farm and limited exp. Fizz is a situational pick.

I did put it somewhat bluntly but basically if your whole team is mad at you for going for kill lane rather than AD + support lane and you can't convince them otherwise, they're fully justified in reporting you.

They're full of shit. You can only get banned for a pick if it's clear you picked the hero just to troll, it's a high burden.

It just cant work. All those champs are considered weak in ranked. Hell, Soniv STILL gets yelled at for picking viktor. How do you say "X champion is to weak for ranked and picking him is pretty much ensuring that the other team will win."

People would move from demanding eve be removed from ranked to other champs too. When in reality, although Eve IS the only unviable champion in the game, every other champ is perfectly viable. So people would use the one unviable champ to push for the removal of perfectly viable ones.

Only there is no way to PROVE that one champ is unviable while the rest are viable.

Riot has already said that if your team reports you for your champion pick (given that you went for something unusual) it's your fault for not picking something they liked or convincing them otherwise. So yeah, picking anything that isn't FOTM is technically a bannable offense as long as your team is mad about it. No proof needed. Just goes to show how stupid the code can be.

Not sure if anyone cares but Doublelift put up an AMA on reddit and while I usually don't care much for pro players AMA's his is very informative. Really destroys the whole, "Doublelift knows nothing about this game," stereotype for me. As well as him clarifying a few things, such as, "Chauster taught me everything."

You can't be banned for picks. It's about why you pick something and how you act. If you pick eve to spite your team and proceed to troll, then yes you'll get banned. If you try to play her as a e.g. serious jungler, no you won't.

Fizz mid can be summed up with

enemy relies on skillshots > fizz wins
enemy relies on target spells > fizz has to occasionally give up farm

if you can stay even or close to even until sheen + 2x doran you win and can gank other lanes pretty much at will. to elaborate on the target thing, Fizz can force a lot of champions to push lane, if your jungler comes mid when you are farming under/near tower you can get the mindgame advantage to freefarm. If your jungle ignores your lane even with the opponent standing at your tower stuff like annie sitting on 5 spells can zone you all day long.

Its REALLY hard to hit pro level without knowing how your role works, and he is one of the best laning ad carries in the world. (I say really hard and not impossible because elementz is still playing professionally).

Still dont change the fact he still struggles with basic in game decision making. Knowing and being able to act are 2 very different things.

What the hell do you mean "bastardize"? You mean when people actually started playing her? Woe is you.

The issue is that they've almost over buffed Viktor, and if a lot of people start playing him, then they may nerf him. Hopefully people won't catch on for a good long while though as he's actually pretty difficult to play right.

The truth about Viktor I'll tell you it. A friend decided to pick him up again and.. he messed up as he learned a few times to a point in several games he just strait up lost his lane. However it didn't matter he kept farming and the burst, sweet dear the burst is insane he just turns teamfights into aoe death slaughters like some sort of Kennen/Fiddle Storm of doom.

As he went on he started to figure out Viktor's lane strengths and then well..I had to tell him to stop playing so people would not catch on.

Vik is strong. He has a shield to trade early, and that range on the death ray is insane. His ult is amazing, and he has some of the best zone control with the stun circle, and the rest of his kit. The only thing holding him back imo is how damn mana hungry he is, but I'm sure it could be fixed by running some mana per five in runes and masteries, buying an early chalice or mana tear.
