Edit: Oh, and fuck Yorick in top lane too. He's balanced, sure, but too annoying for me to care about balance when talking about.

How bout someone no one plays like Teemo? Riot should disable exhaust too because it promotes lazy people playing.

All those champs are considered weak in ranked. Hell, Soniv STILL gets yelled at for picking viktor. How do you say "X champion is to weak for ranked and picking him is pretty much ensuring that the other team will win." People would move from demanding eve be removed from ranked to other champs too. When in reality, although Eve IS the only unviable champion in the game, every other champ is perfectly viable. So people would use the one unviable champ to push for the removal of perfectly viable ones. Only there is no way to PROVE that one champ is unviable while the rest are viable.

I will never play Trynd, Sion, Zilean, Morg, Rumble, or Shaco in any real amount because every time I see them on the screen it just makes me think, "Well fuck you too guy." Edit: Oh, and fuck Yorick in top lane too. He's balanced, sure, but too annoying for me to care about balance when talking about. I have that attitude as well but a completely different set of champions I apply it to, except Yorick, 'cause fuck that guy. Not fun to play OR play against. Vayne used to be on my no-play list but the million nerfs helped bring her down in my eyes. Vlad is on my list, still don't own him. I forget who else. As far as Shaco goes, the fun of playing him certainly outweighs the 'anti-fun' it is to play against him. I suggest trying him out sometime.

How bout someone no one plays like Teemo? Is there any other character in the game that Riot has openly admitted they have intentionally nerfed to be plain bad? There are red posts that straight up say we made Eve intentionally bad until the stealth rework comes out.

That way, overpowered champions don't clog up the ranked games and force everyone to ban the new champion all the time. I know people would want to play the new champ, but figuring out a new champion doesn't really sound like the mentality you would have if you were trying to raise your ELO. I do like at least a 2 week ranked ban upon introduction because: 1. Its cheesy because only you know how to evaluate trades. 2. Riot's internal balancing is rubbish.

I actually have him, but I generally don't like assassin characters as it is. I just refuse to try and get better with him specifically because I hate what he stands for ![]()

Id wager a lot of people buy new champions and try them out right away often in ranked, yet would not do so if they had seen others play the champion for 2 weeks in normal only to learn some random ability isnt OP like they thought ect. Riot would lose a lot of impulse buys if they banned new champions from ranked.

Zil gets basically free harass and amazing protection, so does Rumble and Yorick with harass, Yorick also gets to block skillshots with an army and double his Vayne, and you have to base your entire post-6 laning/roaming phase around whether or not Trynd has his ult up. I'm not saying any of them need to be removed, I just dislike them from a preferential standpoint.

Riot has already said that if your team reports you for your champion pick (given that you went for something unusual) it's your fault for not picking something they liked or convincing them otherwise. So yeah, picking anything that isn't FOTM is technically a bannable offense as long as your team is mad about it. No proof needed. Just goes to show how stupid the code can be.
