Going solomid is usually the best way to forcefully carry other lanes as you can win your lane and gank for them. Ryze requires no skillshots, does amazing damage and is hard to kill on top of being an excellent tower diver and is rarely banned at low elos. Why smartcast on Ryze over not? Isn't its main advantage with skillshots? Smartcasts main advantage is being able do to shit faster, ryze has like very low cooldowns so it's good on ryze. That's said, so many ryzes that prison a minion during a gank, just lol.
I don't play Ryze, but usually my clicking is not so slow as to give me an advantage either way (it seems).

I don't really think it's a significant advantage over non-smartcasting, I just feel that being able to basically roll over qwqeqrq or whatever feels way better than having to click. It's one of those entirely personal preference things.

The gold efficiency of SotO and Mejai's is much better than Leviathan. Leviathan becomes gold efficient at 10 stacks whilst SotO and Mejai's become efficient at 5 stacks.
Why is Leviathan so undervalued? The 15%DR is not exactly loads better than the 15% CDR or 15% MS.
Leviathan isnt as stack efficient becase this:
The counter to snowball items is to kill and focus the player who bought them, Leviathan is a stack item that with every stack makes it more difficult and less desirable to focus and kill the player. IE, it preserves its own stacks.
That said I think its pretty clear the item is a bit flat out bad right now, but it should never have the same efficiency as mejais or SOTO

Ryze's skills are also all non-skillshots, so you don't benefit at all from having time to look at an arrow, really, except if it's the range you are unsure about (which shouldn't be an issue once you play Ryze for a few games).
Unless you miss more skills with smartcast (no idea why that would happen, especially for non-skillshots), it will definitely give you an advantage, it doesn't matter how small the advantage is. It's faster, there's no downside.
If you're talking about AoE or skillshot abilities, I'd see how the time you get to look at the radius/line might buy you accuracy, I don't see how it helps with Ryze though. And being able to cast spells sooner is always an advantage.
(Edit: If you just prefer non-smartcast, that's fine, but I think it's clearly an advantage for almost everyone to smartcast point-and-click skills like this, especially with Ryze's passive where spamming skills gives you an additional CDR advantage.)

FUCK YEAH Bunnygirl Riven: PURCHASED.

there's pretty much no reason i wouldn't smart-cast point and click nukes. It's skillshots and aoe crap where it really comes down to preference. Most of my skillshots i tend to smartcast, but there are a few (most notably blitz) where the cost of me missing is pretty large, so i'd rather favor accuracy over speed.

Oh what Riot reveals 2 champions in the same week?

If I were Riot I'd give him the skin and then permanently disable Riven on his account.

What does 'Loss forgiven' mean ? Doest it mean 'We put you with a team of monkey so we didn't count the game' ?

Usually it because the server really laggy or something. Basically means you lose nothing.

Okay this is something that bothers me for some while now: Everywhere you go, people say how boring top lane is. How boring the champions are. How its not fun to play. How boring it is to watch And still, atleast it feels that way, 4 out of 5 people in my games want to play top lane. The fifth wants mid. Also: Take a look at the most successful streamers - they are pretty much tiered: Top laners, junglers, solo mids, ad carries and then supports. Of course the numbers mesh a bit, for example TOO pulls more than TRM, but generally speaking the tiers are there.
And another thing: Everybody says that the success of a stream is dependant on the personality. See the reality show-like streams of TSM (minus Dyrus), Destiny etc. How comes that Dyrus, one of the most boring people ever, has one of the most successful streams out there? I mean that guy speaks very rarely, mostly some "oh well that sucks" if he dies - and a lot of sighs. His voice also sounds as if he is perma-stoned. And yet, people flock to him, revere him, make him pictures and drawings and he even spawns memes (huehuehuehuehue). I don't get it, the guy defies all common rules for stream-success.
Anyone able to shed some light on it?
