I think that AP sion is better since the ratios are 0.9 which is sweet and you have a ranged nuke and you are fairly tanky with massive shield and lichbane proc lifesteal, they argue that your ult is amazing on ad sion and you can't die ever and that the E gives you a bunch of free stats for ad. But I think that that means you walk up get cc'd die whereas with ap you can walk up dfg stun have shield and not die so fast. | ||

Fully equipped, I'd rather have AD Sion because he doesn't ever die, but in fact, chances are you won't ever get him there against competent players. He's no threat at all till late game, while AP Sion can influence the game easily by pushing+roaming. I'd rather have a competent AP Sion on my team. | ||

Big unkillable shield that one shots every minion in the wave, and good burst and ganking potential. AD I feel like is okay if you get farm, but you do get kited around without a gap closer, and some CC pretty much instantly locks you down if you build that squishy. | ||

Thing is it hard to get AD Sion into the late game without being underfarmed. And when I say AD Sion late game I mean like 5-6 items... before that AP better at pretty much everything. | ||

All your damage pretty much mitigated by being focused briefly. Compare that to say and Ahri who can deal more single target burst damage and all of her abilities are AoE at the same time. Compared to every other AP carry late game/Sions early game strength he fall off late. | ||

That got me thinking, what if Riot indeed made each skin different (more than cosmetically)? Like give one skin +5 AP, another +1% ms, etc. Would the sales of skins increase? Decrease? Would people protest? Does Riot have any official stance on this matter? | ||

I would call AP Sion hands down the worst lategame AP in the game.You will never get a shield pop off against a squishy vs anyone who knows how to teamfight, leaving you with a single target 550 range stun nuke with a .9 ratio as your only purpose. Flat out awful. As APsion you rely on getting your team a massive advantage in the midgame by winning all 3 lanes at once, if that fails to work spectacularly you become worthless in a hurry. | ||

In that case it would really just be another rune slot with the side effect of alienating people who already bought cosmetic-only skins. | ||
