well, corgis and varying degrees of rage/amusement at top camping occupy about 98% of my thought process, but there's actually some higher level shit going on with the other 2% of my thought process and I feel like sharing it.

This was what I came to realize while I working to break into silver. Once I stood back and actually dissected my own play, I came to realize that there are lots of things I could do better, and so just tried to work every game into a win no matter how badly we are losing.
That, and I am currently having a friendly contest with my friend on who has higher elo. I always seem to come out ahead by 1.

This might as well be called "How to carry as a support".
That's what you do as a support for the most part (outside of early laning): You try to play your 4 cards/allies in the best possible way.

Support mentality is what everyone should have though. It shouldn't be unique to support players only.

I do it too and people complain, but honestly I only do it when they're low and I'm thinking that they should go back while I get myself some farm. Then they go back way later and lose exp when the enmy pushes to their tower, I don't get it.
It also is true that it's really good to hardpush to the enemy turret asap after they die so you deny them exp and if your laner isn't a strong pusher the jungler should help with that

W-E as who lol, and yes it should. Alis ult reduces all dmg by 75% or so and still takes full dmg from true damage.

Alistar instantly removes all crowd control effects from himself. He also gains bonus attack damage and takes reduced physical and magic damage for 7 seconds.
It explicitly states physical and magic, not true damage.
Olaf's ult once was able to reduce true damage, but that was changed as well.

Jungle tax translates to some newbie pushing ur lane so that u lose all lane control basically. Saint mostly screws them over as well.

The bugs that reduced true damage no longer are relevant. True damage is true damage. Nothing can reduce it.
Edit: for saint's "tax" it's situational. Most of the time it's after a successful gank which causes the enemy to back or die, in which case pushing denies them xp. Sometimes he'll take 1-2 creeps if he burned a flash or did some minor damage in the gank, which isn't great but if the next time he ganks he can kill because no enemy flash then who cares if he took 2 creeps.
Sometimes he just screws over the laner, but sometimes i've also seem him just run in, push a lane, then get him and his ally go steal a buff. It's not always optimal what he does but generally speaking he does a lot for the teams he's on so giving him gold isn't like giving grackis gold. ;o
I wouldn't trust a random 1400 player "taxing" a lane though >.> they'd probably build something silly like triple stacks and triforce. <.<

Atleast most people know saint. When a certain someone goes kerp this kerp that(not as much anymore tho) I'm like who the fuck is kerp and why should I care.
