I hit 30 about a week ago, haven't played any ranked yet though. Today I played with a few friends, we rotated a bit, and some of them are "high" ELO players (~1500-1800ish). I play jungler, and until today I rarely met a jungler on the other team that outfarmed or outganked me. However, the games today shattered my self image a bit. Almost every game I got outleveled, outfarmed, outganked and on top of that they also counterjungled me heavily. I mean I dont understand it, in the same timeframe as I they did so much more, often with champions that are slower than me. I mean its awesome to see some good junglers, but I have no idea what and how to improve specifically (everyone can say "gank more", "farm more") to bring my game to the next level... I think I'm revolutionizing counterjungling. revolutionizing normal games 99/100 junglers arent too fussed about smiting perfectly on blue especially when they want it back sooner for red. you could probably sit there and wait and just auto hit the last shot most games. | ||

Need smite though so you can instantly move quick and flash over the wall to get away | ||

I missed some details typing during that, but generally you don't want to try ganking very pushed lanes, especially when you're already behind. Your blue spawned a full minute before you went to kill it. You should be at your blue nearly the second it spawns in most cases. As the enemy jungler, I would have seen you mid without blue past 7:15 and gone and stolen it. After you get blue, you walk into the enemy jungle and sit at red. Two problems: first, Skarner will rape Maokai, especially since you're underleveled. Second, you wen't so late that not only had red already spawned (normally mid 8 minute mark), but Skarner had taken it and left. Through this entire 60-90 second period you were neither farming or ganking and you're already behind. Just go farm your jungle. Later you go to wolves and have red. You kill the camp and have nearly full hp/mp and still have red, but you back instead of trying to kill the Morde who is pushed past river. That's all I watched. Basically you waste too much time not farming or ganking. You don't want try invading to catch the enemy jungler when they're stronger than you and you have no escapes. | ||

I've had some moderate success with jungle TF those days and had a blast, so I was wondering if there's something along those lines out there I haven't tried yet. I'm guessing Noc and Panth play similarly? | ||

There's pretty much no reason you should ever get to the enemy's jungle before they do without using TP. | ||

As for my favorite odd jungle, its probably volibear atm. Slowish, but stupidly strong ganks and he just somehow makes the game more FUN. But really im just enjoying being able to rape face with WW. Every jungler secretly has a hard on for him. And if you dont you arent a jungler. | ||
