I'm pretty sure by Dreamhack she'd been nerfed to the shitter already (I assume you mean Dreamhack 2011, because LoL wasn't an event yet at Dreamhack 2010). She was strong at the height of the popularity of roaming supports on NA, which was the months leading up to Dreamhack.
There weren't any major NA LoL tournaments in that period of time either, IIRC. It was mostly just Go4LoL and Premier League. And she definitely got picked in Premier League--TL picked her and had Scy playing her. TSM also picked her in some Go4LoLs (before they solidified who was playing what lane yet).
EDIT: Yeah, Dreamhack is definitely too recent to be looking for when Eve was good. Dreamhack happened in June, Eve got nerfed to uselessness in January.

Makes last hitting easier = bigger opportunities of windows where you can last hit and harass.
I don't think there's been enough proof either way, so really it's just preference for most champs.

The dropoff isn't huge lategame anyway. I'd like to note that he still uses ArPen on MF, most likely because her AD scaling is garbage.

she's never had more stealth than she currently has, as far as I know. She just used to have a ton more stats and she stunned instead of slowing when she came out of stealth.

and her ulti healed like 750 per kill/assist instead of 150 (maybe its 250?) so she used to be kinda lulzy. Just herpderp towerdive for a guaranteed kill and get healed full.

For some reason players seem to think that if your team is taking baron, your smite becomes more powerful than the other team's.
People really gotta be more careful about baron timings. It's a 50% chance whether your smite or his smite gets it.

hmm, every time i turn on SV or HSGG streams lately i'm not impressed and they're probably losing. i think mass solo q to make money from streaming turns them into trolls who are like the opposite of tryhard.

What I don't understand is why riot bothered go and do this big "stealth remake." The reason stealth was considered overpowered in LoL was because of the skills themselves, the duration, and the fact they were non-ultimates and thus available from level 1 onwards, the stealth mechanic itself was not broken. If you look at the stealth skills in dota or hon, you will notice they are basically weaker than what was in LoL. This is coming from a game where every other skill is basically far stronger than it's LoL equivilent.
All they had to do was make stealth spells ultimates only, since any early level stealth is just an unfun game mechanic. By level 6 it's already been established what lane they are in, misses can be called, counter wards can be bought, etc...
