Depends how much you care, moreso than your elo. One implication is right, the other is false.
Making good and interesting post in this sub-forum -> high elo player. High elo player !-> making good and interesting post in this sub-forum.
That's all. All the interesting posters here are somewhat high elo, but all high elo posters aren't always interesting...

you only have to listen to doublelift talk for about 3 minutes to realise he would never be a quality poster. theres some correlation between elo and knowledge but its not a 1:1 function.
if someone says something stupid about a match up, call them on it. explain to them why they are wrong. just because the match up is the other way around at your elo, 500 above his, doesnt mean it doesnt switch again 200 elo above you. just because you see yourself as "high elo" doesnt mean shit unless you es number 1

So now I can can just hit #1 elo then tell everyone that they're wrong? I HAVE A NEW GOAL.

At best it´d be good for the champion threads since there Elo actually relates to the subject of the discussion and quality of the argument. But even there marginalizing "bad" players is bad form since they are the main consumers. Posting Elo merely leads to a hostile enviroment and dilutes arguments with the "value" of the posters Elo.

I finally started the S2 grind. I wanted to keep it for end of season but a friend likes to ranked duo queue and getting last pick meant I had to try to carrysupportalistar, wasn't working too well.
As for the ranked grind, playing mostly Akali.
The first 20 games were extremely hard. I would dominate my lane and then fall off badly late game because my team was all over all the map getting picked off when we should have pressed the early game advantage. Some dcs, afk and trolls and didn't help. About 50% winrate with Akali.
Once I got to ~1450, 90% winrate, I win my lane just as hard but my team can actually use the advantage.
Is sub 1400 so bad that they don't even know how to win so you need a champion that can close the game on his own? In S1 I grinded the low elo with Rammus , playing Akali only from gold to plat.

#1: Your teammates are idiots. Treat them as such. #2: Because of rule #1, trust only yourself. #3: Because of rule #1 &2, never listen to your teammates #4: If you are a laner, do not count on your jungle ever ganking. If you pick into a bad lane for yourself, you deserve to lose. #5: If you are a jungle, do not bother trying to save your lanes from themselves. Only gank when you can get a kill, and it doesnt interrupt your farming. #6: Farm your ass off. Gold has a direct connection to your chance to win. #7: If playing Tanky dps- get farmed, then charge into the middle of the enemy team, tank everything, and wait for your moronic teammates to realize they should be fighting. #8: If playing a Squishy- get farmed, then 1 shot the moron on their team who is split, then force your team to get an objective. #9: Only do baron if you are losing or they have no shot at stealing it. Remember rule #1- the enemy will steal it 9 times out of 10. #10: Inhibs win games. Use rules #7 and #8 to take inhibs.
Of course that brings us to:
#11: If any of the above is proven to be false and you win, congratulations, you just got carried.
The Solo Q commandments, according to T_D, expanded and less bitter nerd tearsconcentrated into it. ( ) + Show Spoiler + #1 Your teammates are different people similarly good/bad as you, they DO NOT has a telepathic link knowing exactly what you expect of them and they DO NOT play every role equally well. Treat them as such. #2 Because of rule #1, trust only yourself, for everyone else you DON'T know what they are going to do, therefore you WATCH what they do and act accordingly. #3 Don't blindly follow or ignore your teammates. If everyone is trying to go for baron, and you want inhib, just do baron. It's better that everyone is on the same page. Still, think for yourself, if everyone is trying to do something that you know is stupid, or will end up getting everyone including you killed, just ping back, say "b" or whatever you need to do to get people to stop. You can explain why later in needed. They'll probably figure it out. #4 If you are a laner, don't expect your jungler is going to magically hop out of your back pocket and support you in lane whenever you lose a few trades or get ganked yourself. Jungling is basically like managing a nursery and by god there are 3 whining lanes constantly and you still need to keep farming or your ganks will be useless because you're be too low level to do anything. #5 (This is just good jungling in my book I don't know what this has got to do with solo queue.) If a laner gets ganked, or dies it's his fault. Their jungler ganking has nothing to do with you. If they push and die to a gank it's their own weak laning skills that didn't predict that gank. If someone got ganked 3 times in a row and is still pushing tough shit. You can't tower dive because the other guy is too ahead and you can't fight 2v2 either. Just tell him to buy wards and do something useful. #6 Always take farm when you're in position to take it and there's no important objectives. Don't assume someone else has time to take the farm, most of it will die to creeps. Gold snowballs leads in games and really lets you "carry". Don't miss easy cs. It will really hurt you in the long run. If you aren't ahead in cs than their lane, you aren't REALLY winning lane. #7 If you're playing a tank, it's your job to figure out when is a good time to initiate and do it. Nobody else is going to. Ensure to make it clear to your team you're going to go in, so that they expect what's gonig to happen. Either you ping a target you're going to CC or say "we should fight" in chat before between the dance between poking and try to initiate. #8 If you team is indecisive, you have to be the one who starts to fight the guy out of position. Also, you need to be the one leading your team to objectives. Time buffs, time baron, time dragon, provide reminders 1 and 2 minutes before. Organize top lane to come down, other lanes to be full health, etc. If your are grouping for objectives it lets you find more time to farm because people will have had enough teamfights that they feel satisfied and don't randomly start roaming their jungle for no reason. #9 Don't take risky barons if you don't have to. Baron fights can turn out horribly if you don't turn and fight. Make sure you let your team know you want to fight and not actually kill baron if they come. Your junglers smite isn't any better than theirs, so don't expect anything better than 50/50 if their jungler is in range. #10 Towers and inhibitors win games. Make sure to get yourself or your team to push towers at any point where you think they aren't in position to defend.
I mean honestly, I think T_Ds are just guidelines to good play in general, not solo queue. It's just it has that flavour of "I HAVE TO CARRY MY RETARD TEAM 1v5" instead of "THESE GUYS ARE SLIGHTLY/SOMEWHAT WORSE THAN ME AND DON'T KNOW ME OR KNOW WHAT I EXPECT OF THEM".

It´s pretty much "negative attitude" in it´s infancy. Any actual commandments should not focus on how to win but how to be a pleasant person to play with/against. Thats why the summoners code doesn´t require anyone to be actually good at the game thankfully.

T_D's rules are one perspective. there are others... I always remember this game http://www.solomid.net/videoplayer.php?v=72 because reginald thinks so hard about how he could have improved the whole game. It's a very old video and now reginald is much more pessimistic like T_D. I'm guessing this kind of pessimism comes from playing the game a lot, which I don't. One of my favorite things about reginald is that he always says "ok how am i going to win this game?" like it's a big puzzle. Most people seem to think that if they just get better at mechanics and stuff they already know how to do, they will climb elo...but just look at say M5's tanky urgot game in the kings of europe finals, anything is possible.

Warmog's is fine for cost efficiency, in terms EHP/gold for a first item it's by far the the best in the game.
The problem with gold cost item comparisons is that they don't always reflect the value you get out of an item. And that's assuming it doesn't have the tricky actives or weird stats (like penetration or CDR ) that most finished items do.

As usual, the ESL site is unbearably terrible. Is there a commentated stream of go4lol today, or should I just watch random people's streams?

I always only get ads and general blackness on this stream (and a select few other own3d streams). Most streams are fine. Reloading or different browsers won't help. Since some own3d streams are perfectly fine while others are not, I'm pretty much clueless.
Does anyone know this issue, and most importantly: A solution?

Can't help there mate, I get same problem with some streams -the ads so I just get black
