I've played blue/red, gold/silver and ruby/sapphire. imo gold/silver was the best of those by a pretty wide margin Show nested quote +On February 13 2012 12:25 ControlMonkey wrote: Some of the new pokemon are just so unimaginative.
Deerling. Guess what, it's a deer. A baby deer. Great.
I mean, beedrill may have just been a bee with drills, but at least that's cool, not like a baby deer. If you actually go back and look at some of the old pokemon with a critical eye you're gonna realize how incredibly lame they were
I've actually played all of them, although I didn't finish the most recent one (black and white?). Even though I played the newer ones I still couldn't recognize the news ones

Are we talking about the actual games or the generations? Because while I do agree Gold/Silver were the best games, 3rd Gen was the best in terms of competitive play, imo.

sup guys the only one i played is leaf green and that pokemon mystery dungeon shit which was tite
what does this have to do with league of legend

Rawrzr played top lane rammus one game with TL B when we were trolling one game and completely carried the whole game single handedly lol. Don't know how the hell he did it but that was the hardest I've been carried all my life.

In teamfights wait for him to taunt someone else before going in. If you have quicksilver sash you don't have to worry about this and just make sure you keep your distance from rammus in fights while he has tremors on. Other than that Rammus doesn't have much influence on you if you stay away from his aoe damage.

what does this have to do with league of legend There are 649 pokemon, created over 14 years, which is about 46 pokemon/year. There are 92 champions, created over 2.5 years, which is about 36 champions/year.
The challenge is to catch them all.

I think you missed the joke. Kennen is lightning type, Rammus is ground type.

The rate is more like ~25 champions a year, plus the initial 40 release champions.
Also, did Riot program their game in Adobe Flash or something?

If a champion puts a damage over time effect on me and then I exhaust them, does the damage of the previously applied DOT effect get reduced?

... yes it does everything in LoL is updated in near-realtime. if you exhaust someone as their projectile is in the air, their damage will be reduced by the appropriate amount. the same holds true for anything that is not true damage
i'm pretty sure the same applies for skills that you level up mid-animation or mid-duration. i.e. you can be using shyvana's W and level it up during it's application, and it will increase in damage from then on (i'm not 100% sure on this, testing it now)
edit: tested, proved incorrect. i was wrong. i tested both popping a red-pot mid-W on shyvana, AND leveling a skill mid-use on shyvana. both should have increased my dps (the redpot by about 2 per W tick, the level up by about 10 per W tick) and neither did. now i'm not so sure about the exhaust on the DoT either. gonna test that now
edit2: retested the exhaust mid-DoT and i was correct. the damage will be reduced as quickly as the next tick AFTER the DoT

Also, in an unrelated note, I just want to say that resource-less champions are stupid. There's no interesting decisions to make with ability usage (since there's almost no reason to ever NOT cast your skills) and they're not fun to play against in lane because you're just constantly being skill spammed. Resource-less champions are honestly the single biggest reason I hate laning in this game and just jungle all the time.

One thing I know is Teemo shrooms do the base damage of the level you had in your ult when you placed them, not when they go off. BUT, I believe, they do bonus damage based on the AP you have when they go off, rather than when you placed them. Looked this up when I was having fun with AP Teemo. If you haven't tried it you need to, by the way.

For all those interested in the amazing solotop rammus and how to beat irelias here is my miniguide.
9/21/0 mpen red, flat armor yellow, ap/lvl blue, flat AP quints
Cloth 5 pots -> hog -> boots -> chainmail -> boots 2 -> Omen (Thornmail) -> Sunfire -> 2x negatron or 1x negatron + GA
Priority R > E > W > Q
Levels 1-4 WEQE
Objectives: Have 400+ Armor (not including W) by end of game. Use only W to clear creep waves. Have 180+ AD from your passive.
EDIT: In hindsight you could change our your blues and quints to something more conservative, but fuck it you are fucking solo-top rammus not some pussy ass irelia with teleport.
taken from the old topic. yeah their whole team was more useless than 5 of me in any other game.

Lol what? Chaox, voyboy, chauster, nhat, a v8 player and other high elo players did an only middle lane or ARAM game in solo Q.... Not sure how they agreed to do that. Also apparently blue side minions op.
