Why don't people build chalice as ap mid more? The mr helps in the current meta and you don't have to be reliant on blue so your jungler can keep blue if they need it (amumu). | ||

Solves her huge mana issues and since her positioning superiority was nerfed, building complete glass cannon is probably not as effective as at least having a little bit of MR in lane. Wonder what his runes/masteries were. Salce also bought Sorc boots early then sold them for CDR boots even though he had blue buff on cooldown. Not so sure I agree with that one, but watching him still made me want to buy her... | ||

Vs some champions that extra MR is golden while having the extra regen to spam them down yourself. | ||

I believe Hotshot would get it and then sell it a bit later but he mostly only got it for lane phase 'cause even release Orianna had mana issues. I'm pretty sure I remember that even at MLG Providence when Hotshot ran Ori that the MLG Twitter commented something to the effect of, "Hotshot winning his lane hard with Chalice of Harmony on Orianna." I think jiji would always rush Cata into RoA on Ori though. | ||

The gold cost has not been announced yet, but it seems that the locket is a pretty good support item. Not only does it build very smoothly (Hog -> Emblem -> Locket) and should be done by mid game, where is aura regen, and AOE shielding will be most effective. At lvl 12 its a 170 shield on you entire team, which is pretty neat for a dragon figth. | ||
