The Dotards tears are delicious. Geez. Why cant people just accept other games. Imma watch Dota 2 and LoL (well, once I ever bother to figure out how to play dota). I just love how if it was the other way around everyone in that thread who is going "Fuck ESL they suck anyway" would be bending over backwards to praise the organization. | ||

You could say, "well can't Sivir just spell shield a trap?," and while that's true it means she's now vulnerable to CC or a spell from your support. And, as loco said, you also have to factor in which support the two have. Sivir isn't so strong that she wins every single lane. In fact, I think there are more ADs than just Caitlyn that can beat Sivir in lane. I think it's generally accepted that Sivir loses alot of lanes to other AD's, but her ult is so good in teamfights that teams will accept losing bottom in order to have the utility and power of her ult later in the game. | ||

I don't understand why people get so pissed of when other games do well. Even plenty of starcraft fans get pissed of at LoL doing decently. Its not like these games can't co-exist. If you told Chaox that he would laugh you out of the building. Sivir dominates any lane matchup on bot and only Cait is a threat simply because she outranges Sivir (only talking about auto attacks, believe Sivir's Q is longer than Cait's Q, not to mention spell shield to nullify Cait's). Sivir can literally spell shield all of Caits abilities and her traps are literally floating mana potions. You can literally stick any support with Sivir and she does well. Taric/Alistar/Leona guarantees maximum double rang hits (30-50% life done simply with Q). Stick her with Soraka and she can literally auto push bottom lane all day and farm like mad, even under tower with infinite mana and HP. Only champion I actually don't want a Sona support, though that ult + Power cord dmg from Sona will mostly likely kill anyone if everything lands. The way it stands now Sivir is on a tier by herself with all the others scurrying for 2nd. I expect a second round of Sivir nerfs in the near future. Perhaps next patch even. | ||

Maybe it's just me being biased but I find the DotA2 community to be terrible. I'd recommend that people who have common sense just steer clear of threads like that because they're really just filled with stupidity and mindless bashing of LoL. I think most of it stems from jealousy. It's the same reason so many SC2 fans hate LoL. When a game becomes more popular and brings in more viewers than a game you think "deserves it" then you're obviously going to have people try to rationalize it as being an "easy game" or that "Riot paid them off." It's like the BW vs. SC2 debate all over again but twice as stupid because most of those people like SC2. I hope that DotA2 succeeds because I think there's room for DotA2 and LoL but the fact that so many people on TL hate a game so much is ridiculous. Just two days ago on TL people were talking about Sivir lane as if it was hard to beat, calling it the strongest AD lane, and making fun of Doublelift for saying that he can shit on a Sivir lane as Corki/Caitlyn. | ||

Much better than when they call us noobs and bads for playing lol. I mean, it IS possible to like both games. Most normal humans are capable of liking more than one thing. I, for example, enjoy lol AND dota 2, and will not bash on either the game or people who prefer one over the other. What I WILL bash on are the assholes who start bashing lol (or any other game for that matter) as soon as any bit of positive news emerges. I call them dotards. | ||

1) Does LOLReplay work with the spectator client (e.g., if you get a spectator replay do you get all the data)? 2) Has Riot made any comment in the last 2-3 months on replays? I always assumed they'd release it at the same time as spectator but that's clearly not the case. I don't really have a useful way to review team games right now because my replay files only have data for stuff I'm looking at. | ||

- New Leona skin - It is delayed for a minimal of one day - Sivir getting heavily nerfed, mainly Q base damage/scaling reduction Ult duration reduced, ult MS reduced - small Sona bugfix - Graves/Ahri(most likely) is getting nerfed the patch after this, on the other hand the Shen buff will be in the same patch. - Replays is not coming out soon - New pentakill skin is getting worked on, aka the last one I believe to complete the band - IP is getting slightly reworked | ||

Interesting. im actually surprised chalice isn't oriana core. she has horrendous mana problems, probably the worst out of all APs that use mana, anivia/swain being close runner ups. sure you can hand off blue buff, but you're probably not going to have blue buff 100% of the time. chalice is also relatively cheap at ~900 gold and gives MR which is nice since most of the time Ori will be up against another AP. | ||
