[Patch 1.0.0.131: Ahri] General Discussion - Page 69

Want to rage about your latest loss? Use the QQ thread. If you whine in GD, you'll get warned. ===== + Show Spoiler + If your [Stream] thread was moved to the general TL Stream subforum (aka SC stream land), find your thread and PM it to me and I'll move it back to LoL territory. I can argue with staff that moving a non-SC thread into a SC subforum is just asking for that thread to get buried. - Neo, Dec. 15 2011, 6:33 KST I have admin approval. I'll be moving LoL streams back to the subforum. Stream name will be based on Summoner name. - Neo 7:07 KST

You CAN of course guide its reversal path, most notably when you're zipping around with Ulti.

What is the error? I was regularly getting a missing DLL error preventing me from playing after the last patch but when I closed LoLReplay it started working again.

The trick with hitting Foxy's true damage is to get the guy when he's at the apex of the orb's path, but the down side is it just makes it easier for you to wiff the whole thing. I like dropping the apex on a guy moving in to get a cs.

I like dropping the apex on a guy moving in to get a cs. Saying that it's easier to whiff the Q completely is an understatement. People who are good will move out of the way if you try to hit them at the furthest range to ensure the true damage. Her E is also pretty rough, I mean, it's a skillshot and it doesn't move as fast as other skillshots do. I guess it's okay though considering the 975 range on it and the fact that if you do hit someone with it post-6 it's usually a guaranteed kill. I think it's been said before but I'm pretty sure maxing W is always best for lane Ahri in almost every match up. Q's damage is just too unreliable and it's not hard at all to hit an enemy with two or all three Fox-Fires of W even with minions in the way. On December 17 2011 05:46 Craton wrote: Poor Moonwrath. Puts all the time and effort into maintaining that thread and nobody realizes it exists. Maybe add the link to tech support thread in the thing at the top of gen discussion? I dunno if people asking for tech support in this thread has become as bad as people QQing in here to warrant it though.

I definitely have the most to learn with supports. I just went 6/5/14 as Sonaa where my end creep score was 20 (inc. 2 blue+smalls) and the graves in my lane was raging on my so hard for having any kills. It's not like I was saving q to last hit, but I was usually flashing in, popping ulti then ignite the q(if I'm not in huge danger) >e>healbot and shurelias(sp?). I was only using ignite cause I locked in and set everything else and just missed spells) but occasionally my target got bursted before my dots were off. I was always under the impression that other than when duo laning trying to let a carry last hit a champ is a waste of time. The only conceivable "ks" I had was when garen flashed away and I was in range for q, while graves would have had to flash+his volley to have a chance of killing. Should I have not tried any damage output in teamfights or is this the type of thing I should expect from solo queue if I support?

If you are sure they won't get away and someone else is highly likely to get it (they blew flash, are obviously alone and your carry is right next to you), let em have it. Otherwise tell them to go diaf and do more dmg. =P

If it would take your carry blowing a summoner to get the kill and you just have to q I wouldnt' hesitate.

Them getting their gold/10 faster means more wards throughout the game which puts our team in a better position. I don't need a dblade advantage on top of my level advantage to win a lane. If it's past 10 minutes though the difference is pretty negligible since the gold differential becomes less and less of your total gold. At that point I'd rather have the kill secured than care who gets it. If it's obvious that somebody is about to get a pentakill though you should try to steal it though. Someone link that video where the Soraka snipes the penta right off her MF. =D
