Turn off smart cast, hit W, then when you're 100% sure they're in range click them and spam Q.

It's kind of tricky and takes a fair amount of practice to do it consistently, but basically you just want to press Q right as you start to lunge for the Headbutt. Alisar's AP ratios are pretty bad though. 0.5 on Pulverize and 0.7 on Heabutt. I think if you want damage on Alistar, go for a combo like Sunfire + Abyssal, gives you some nice tanky stats while also having synergy with your passive.
assassin build quite good too, I've been running it on him out of the jungle forever and it's pretty scary. get a vamp scepter, triforce and bruta, press R and leap on their squishies in every fight. Don't think I've ever actually tried tank alistar with expensive items, could be fun though.
I guess the real question is what lane he's coming out of. If he's in duo lane he needs a support build with 1 or 2 gp5 and cdr, if jungle assassin build, if solo lane I guess assassin or maybe tank.

In solo q, you bet your ass I'm gonna take AP mid as first pick. I never ever trust anyone in solo q to play the lane I'm best in. If I'm last pick, I'll resign to whatever role is left over.

in terms of blinding, it strictly means autoattacks, so ezreal q and pirate q do full dmg.

If she hit 6 and gets you with charm, its pretty much over cause of the burst she has.

I have found that typically the order of solo q picks tends to go top mid jungle 1-2-3 in some order with ad/support coming last.

last picks should be the mid and top so you can counter pick their champs, but nobody does that.

Well dodging her projectiles before she hits 6 isn't very hard, just stutterstep and dance around as per usual. However it's just when she does land a Charm or her ball thing, I either get disabled and die to her burst, or the ball hits me for 1/4 of my HP and i die to he burst anyways. I was playing solo mid against her as Veigar maybe that was more the issue than Ahri as a hero.

Skill order and items for jungle assassin?

Well, it's like getting hit by a morg bind. If you get locked by that, be prepared to take a shit ton of damage. Just don't get hit and you're golden ^.^

Why do you remid me of this sadness (
I told people so often to not firstpick top, but they never listen. It really feels top is the most easy to counter lane. But everyone wants to show of their skills.

Just hope im your team captain next time. Always first pick Janna.

True damage sounds nice, but its too easy to dodge it. Its better to miss 1-2 mobs, than face her combo and be killed/forced to bluepill.

Get the shit counterpicked out of you if you take him early, but guaranteed to not have an ap mid open if you're a late pick.

My favorite is when people counter-pick themselves. Enemy picked Xerath? Sounds like great opportunity to pick Ryze!

Just go Yorick top first pick, uncounterable!

Hahaha, I did that earlier today. I went down like 1-5 because he also had really good ganks from his jungle maokai. Ended up winning the game 9-7-16 though. Ryze too strong.

I love it when the enemy 1st or 2nd lock in Kassadin. It's silly, really.
