Cho is good enough to do a lot of things... I mean I like to take e for the sake of last hitting + trading hits and if you are going to farm top lane, then you really don't need more than level 1 in q because the knockup to escape ganks / be aggressive isn't that much improved...
-.- Personally I'd rather have merc treads than swiftness and a roa...

I'm trying to play him and I would do fine if one summoner spell didn't completely counter me. It's like a 5 second exhaust. Retarded. Does QSS remove it?
Read the lol wiki on QSS
I don't trust the LoL wiki for specific things like this.
Case in point, the wiki says that Cleanse removes the "effects of Ignite".
Yes, the new patch is supposed to let cleanse remove ignite. I think it was last week actually that they released the patch. QSS removes everything cleanse does and more. It doesn't provide the 3 second 65% CC reduction though.
The wiki is right. It's even got patch history notes.
It removes the damage portion but not the healing debuff, as of a few hours ago. I guess QSS has to be core for Mundo if the other team has Ignite (aka always).

E improves your last hitting massively, does residual damage to enemies who step in front of you, increases your pushing speed, and increases your fighting damage. Maxing it is better than maxing Q in most scenarios, and I always get at least one level of e in the first 3 levels.
That (and the guy above me) makes a lot of sense. I always kind of played very passively and let them push a bit on top and then q + w a cluster of creeps. But your suggestions sound a lot better!
"Cho'Gath specializes in high burst damage to a single target."
0 AP BUILD trololol
I'm also disappointed that he really only talked about Cho's ability in solo top. He's also a beastly AP mid, and a viable jungler. Or you can build full AD with E as your main damage. Also I prefer Banshee's Veil for MR tbh. More health and mana. Or at least Abyssal Scepter or something so you have some AP. Would be preferable over FoN.

tbh I do like his item build. Usually I get a catalyst though just to be impossible to push out of lane, so I agree with BV or even RoA.

Seriously though, why is the stereotypical LoL pro behavior so accepted? Why isn't it in SC2? Obviously there are some bm SC2 streamers that get a lot of viewers but I'd say they are the minority especially compared to LoL. In SC2 people say someone is a "ragequitter" or "bm" if they don't gg before a leaving a game...
i have a suspicion that TL is the culprit
Ya I think the SC2 phenomena is a carryover from the BW days. If you watched korean BW, you got used to the idea that a game ended with GG, and that there was no banter or insults between players (at least not after kespa changed the rule). Of course, we have seen banter pick up a bit with no anti talk rule in sc2, but the tradition of GG remained.
Of course, we still see GG at the end of games of lol, at all levels including the top. But lol is a much longer game, and requires much less actual concentration and apm, so you are free to chat opponents and teammates up practically the entire game. It also has to do with the simple fact that no matter how good you are, you rely on 4 members of your team being anything above complete idiots to win. And that gets frustrating for good players. Do you really think that Idra would be able to play SC2 in a 2v2 format, let alone 5v5?
I just deleted my response to the whole streaming issue (hint: If it makes you pay your bills it's a job. I'm also pretty sure the IRS agrees with me on this part, maybe some americano can confirm/deny. =P) but I have to answer to this one.
-LoL is technicly free. That means there is no entry barrier whatsoever. People who spend money are usually more carefull about what they do. -There is no risk of being banned for being BM. BM for me starts with everything that makes other people feel bad with no inherent reason. ("Can you ward please?" vs "omg ward you fucking newb") - Whenever I start talking in a really manner way it usually leads to fucking weird roleplays with random supports ("Can you ward please?" - "Anytime for you, kind sir" trollol). Or you ask in such a way and get a "omg stfu" but yeah. =D -LoL allows you to blame everyone but yourself when bad things happen. Unless you're able to reflect properly what's going on you'll just keep on doing that which leads to moar BM and less skillz.

This is a really good post. Wanted to point out that team games always have more "BM" than 1v1 games for pretty obvious reasons. Play any FPS and you see just as much, probably more, shit talking as you do in LoL.
Streamers are definitely suppose to file taxes for their revenue if it exceeds a certain amount. I believe that for most of them (or at least the Americans) that amount is $5,000 annually. Could be $10K though, my memory is fuzzy (it's been a year since I've filed taxes cut me some slack). Anyone who says that streaming isn't a job is just straight up wrong.
On another note: I just FINALLY updated the stream thread again (say thx to Skyrim, D2, Crysis 1+2 and DotA 2 Beta - which were all moar fun to me than LoL with it's awesum updates lately) - however this time it seems that twitch.tv bleap links are semi-fucked up.
If your stream is listed, please doublecheck them and tell me if you think you found the issue. Some seem to be on perma-live atm. o.O
Edit: IN CASE YOU GUYS HAVENT SEEN IT - THE DOTA 2 OBSMODE IS SO FUCKING BADASS ITS NOT EVEN FUNNY. This is literally the best observer mode I've ever seen.
"Oh, cool, some high ranked match going on." "Let's join in and chat with 70 other observers." "Oh, let's watch some dudes FPVOD-like perspective with maxium quality since it's on my own comp." "Oh, let's let some other observer control my camera."
etc. pp.
It's so fucking boss. It's like watching 10 FP streams at once with ultra-uber-high graphics. ggnore.

Until I get a DOTA2 beta key I refuse to believe that it exists.

Make sure to check your steam account from time to time.
I was asking for a key in the DotA 2 forum, started steam and realized I was in the beta all along. No Email (not even in junk, nothing). So I have no idea since how long I already had it in there. =S

you mean you build triforce on your second back, like to jungle and do tons of damage?
i like how half cho gaths spotlight was about the strength of movement speed items and teleport, nothing to do with chogath : D

I'd say it's pretty damn relevant to look at how features are done in other games.

All of Valve's games have a lot of those features with SourceTV. I know that at the very least TF2 does. Too bad that game's competitive scene is completely dead.
