Sorry that he got excited about a feature in a new game he was trying and wanted to share it with a community he regularly talks to...? Not to mention, his post actually does deal with LoL, he just put it in an edit. Oh, should he not have mentioned Skyrim because TL has a Skyrim thread? I don't understand why you have such a vitriolic response to a pretty harmless statement. And look, even to make you happy to bring it back to LoL, which you could have done instead of wasting more posts, I'll say that LoL's spectator mode is mediocre at best in comparison to its competitors. Worse than HoN's, worse than DoTA 2's by a mile. It presents less information, in a clunkier way. After waiting so long for observer mode (and replays), I'm honestly anything but impressed. | ||

I'd hereby would like to apologize that I insulted your intelligence by assuming you would draw the conclusion that me talking about an observer mode in a pretty similar game in the LoL subforum might hint at me making an actual comparision to a feature that is soon (tm) to be implemented in our beloved game. I'll do it right this time. Another feature I freshly found in DotA 2 that I would LOVE being incorperated in LoL (I'm not sure if it's currently only in because it's beta and I'm also not sure what they do to prevent abuse of it): Team A vs Team B Player X in Team B leaves the game. After a set amount of time the hero played by X can be controlled by everyone on his team and all of his team members are free to leave the game without penatly. Only the original leaver gets his game counted as "Leaver" for his overall stats. Team A however gets fully acreddited with the win. Disclaimer: Please note that this is NOT intended as LoL vs DotA, I'm merely pointing out a single feature that (imho) is done better in one of the competitor games to LoL. Edit: @Craton. If you'd care about this thread staying on topic you'd take the thread back to topic. However you seem to care more about bitching because of some personal grudge against a word being mentioned in our posts. You neither answered to me asking for help for my LEAGUE OF LEGENDS stream thread, nor took into consideration that the feature I'm talking about has been announced by riot for LEAGUE OF LEGENDS for about a year. You refuse to take dynstyx's bait by explicitly comparing the (beta) LoL observer mode to other games. Then you post again to tell us what you want down your throat and what not. - Since I'm not sure if it counts as backseat moderating (does it?) I can't really tell you to stop derailing our thread. However, for now I can tell you that I don't want unrelated things forced down my throat like what you want forced down your throat and what not. Edit 2: Did anyone find an official ETA on the jungle hotfix yet? =S | ||

But yes, SourceTV is obviously better than a beta Spec mode made by a new company for a game that was released without Spec mode. | ||
