Wonder if they give US accounts a week long IP boost or whatever is it we got here on EU split.
Might lvl my acc up there then if they do give some, even if ping kinda sucks

I'm amused that 19 of Chaox's rune pages are named after fruits, while 1 is named Xpecial.

I'm sure many of us are familiar with this thread by now : http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=293162
There is a bot boosting the competition's votes and we need more internet manpower. Can we try to get this plugged on some LoL streams/forums? Another huge gaming community helping could be what we need to win; at this rate the bot will overtake us before it ends O.o

I was under the impression that armpen is still more efficient, even with the 10% mastery.

flat ad quints and armor pen reds unless you are corki or some shit

I dropped about 200 Elo due to anger and carelessness. I've come upon what I believe is an epiphany in 1500s-ville: In this world, one must not try to actively outsmart the opponent, but instead you just have to crush them with simple brute force. For example, I first-picked Annie in my most recent game, choosing not to ban Morgana. Sure enough, the enemy team took her because why wouldn't you -- she's banned all the time so you obviously need to pick her, right? Well, I killed her three times in lane, ganked bot constantly and made her a non-factor. First-picking Annie was probably lazy though, I could have FP'd Tryndamere (forgot to ban him, enemy team got him) and swapped for Annie.

I play a mana per five yellows and blues with ad reds and quints on ezreal for poking you out of lane level 1 harass.

Consider the case where you're hitting your run-of-the-mill 150 armor tanky target.
% damage dealt with no ArPen: 1/2.5 = 40% % damage dealt with 10% ArPen: 1/(1+0.9*1.5) = 42.553% % damage dealt with 46% ArPen (LW + mastery): 1/(1+0.54*1.5) = 55.2486%
% damage dealt with 15 ArPen: 1/2.35 = 42.553% % damage dealt with 15 ArPen and 10% ArPen: 1/(1+0.9*1.35) = 45.147% (6.1% damage increase over no flat ArPen) % damage dealt with 15 ArPen and 46% ArPen: 1/(1+0.54*1.35) = 57.8369% (4.7% damage increase over no flat ArPen)
9 flat AD marks gives you 8.55 AD. This means that pre-LW, it's a superior damage boost against a 150 armor at AD values 140 or lower. Post-LW, this breakeven point moves to 182 AD. As you will most assuredly pass these AD values before your tanky targets pass 150 armor, the math still favors ArPen marks over flat AD.
I shouldn't have to repeat the math for lower-armor targets, because it should be clear that in those cases, flat ArPen is favored much more because at low armor values, it's worth a higher % damage increase.

Can someone who did the math on AD reds vs ArP reds PM me their calculations? That'd be neat.

Speaking about runes, I've tried out a runepage with critrunes, because I'm poor I only had 10% crit so 14% crit total in lane. I crit a few, only on minions though. In 3 games I didn't get a crit on the enemy champ pre5/6 once. Not really worth the gamble, for me atleast.

Lets do this.
Solotop Shen.
Chucking swords, saving whores.

at level 1, flat ad runes do more damage than armpen for foes with over 45 armor. when your damage scale and you get ad items, armpen gives more damage when you get last whisper and ad items, armpen gives more damage for foes with under 120 armor, flat ad gives more damage for foes with over that armor.
I guess you just have to chose your runes depending on your game plan...
note that these numbers are not exact and only made for general information

Why doesn't riot create an AP version of wriggles (mostly looking for the proc here, and I don't believe it should give spell vamp). Right now the jungle is dominated by bruiser-type champions or assassins / early gankers (shaco/nocturne) and AP is kinda forced out of the jungle in most cases.
I believe this has a large part to do with their inability to clear the jungle effectively with just their spells since most don't have a highly spammable aoe effect and generally do not want to purchase wriggles. A more caster-friendly version of the item could go a long way towards helping that problem
Moreover, your AP is usually the guy who wants blue and this offers a perfect way of seeing they always have it. It opens up more opportunities for double-AP teams and with the change to redbuff proccing on single target spells their ganks will be extremely scary (promoting more aggression overall since AP champs usually have stronger ganks than AD champs)

Clear speeds would be too erratic. It works out on AD heroes because they autoattack enough times per camp for the proc chance to even out over time. But with AP champs, their cooldowns are such that they'd cast 1 spell per camp. If they proc, they instaclear, and if they don't they have to wait for another round of cooldowns before they can finish the camp.
