In teamfighting, what does Taric do the best of every support? He's a good laner, but he's far from the only champion that's a good laner, and other supports (Soraka excluded) aren't exactly bad laners in their own right.
Taric suffers from the fact that the things he's good at aren't things that people want out of supports right now. High burst damage, early level gank CC--these are things that aren't useful to a sit-in-lane-and-babysit supports.
His kit isn't bad, it's just not suited to what people want from supports. Whether that's a temporary product of how people play the game right now, or something systemic to League's design, it's hard to say right now. Certainly if we went back to a state of roaming supports, he'd definitely do reasonably, because he's arguably a stronger gank threat than any support that's not Alistar.

Mallet, Atma's, and CnD are good items in certain situations (though not in this particular game, nor on Graves). 336 cs is awfully low for having afk farmed for 35 minutes in a 52 minute game as well.

Why did they remove Warmog's from Dominion with no replacement item? It's a pretty core item for several champions, and there's no real substitute.

Because, stacking warmogs in dominion, a game with very little minions that only lasts 15minutes is kinda dumb. There's always mallet I think which is slightly less hp but some added dmg(I prefer mogs aswell).

So... How exactly can you manhandle Riven? I'm assuming Smash will say Panth, which I will have to try out, but I doubt it's as effective in my hands. She outscales him so hard later on in the game, it's not even funny, and I doubt I'm good enough to dominate her so hard it won't matter. I tried both Swain and Ryze and didn't do terribly, but not great with either. Nevermoore is just WAY too easy to dodge for Riven, so one reason of him dominating lots of champs top becomes obsolete. With Ryze, it's a bit better, but once she hits around 6 or 7, she outbursts me. Between E-Q-W, it's really hard to get her off my ass, especially if the lane is pushed just the slightest bit. Probably a problem with my play and not Ryze in general, because I feel in theory he should handle her sorta well. As Nasus, I get shat on really hard (should not have tried that I guess huehue), same with Trynd. That might be because I played the early levels really poorly and she just snowballed out of control.
My last resorts at this point would be Warwick, who I'm guessing can keep her at bay and farm safely, and Olaf, who should be able to trade. Any other ideas?

Yesterday I though I should playing solo lanes (jungle, top, mid), and try AD.

AD is so imba my GOD. Top fed. My support fed. Mid was just not dying but not doing anything else. Jungler did no damage. And still, we win oO
AD #1 hard carry position.

Jax should be good once you get a wriggles. WW would need some armour to be able to trade with riven or a source of mana because riven can just push him early and ww can't cs under turret. Or just deny him.

what can you do against an AD sion solo top who is 0/3 in laning phase, farms and at like 30 minutes you cant kill this bastard anymore :/
he lost top against GP, yet somehow he ended up raping everyone later in the game... you can't really force fights when his ult isn't up...

Kite him if his teamcomp allows it, he's even worse than Udyr or Nasus for that.

Yeah Sion wtf. The AP one doing sick dmg is one thing, faced an AD one yesterday, his K/D was negative, but if his ult was up he was more unkillable than an ultied tryndamere. He'd fill his full health bar in 3 hits with ulti up, no joke. Nothing you can do about it. We still won cuz of teamfights and the fact his ulti has a cooldown (duh) but still that was just insane.

yeah thats what i mean, we didnt have a good kite teamcomp and when we tried to focus him we got tibbered and with his ult on he healed everyone for insane amounts :S, so more or less if he's over a certain point it means gg? like nasus and irelia?

If you can't kite him, try splitpushing all 3 lanes.

Ignite the one you're focusing so he won't heal him.

Executioners calling works wonders against ad sion.

I'd suggest scattering (I suppose "kiting" is a better way to phrase that) once his ult starts, if possible- don't let him sit there and whack you. Use Executioner's calling and don't forget to use the active. A lot of ignite helps. Shutting him down early also helps a lot.

Warmogs stack up nearly instantly in dominion, because they get 10 stacks per kill/assist. Assists happen constantly in dominion.
Someone building multiple warmogs was relatively retarded to deal with though. Especially with the Dominion MBR-type item not being as powerful on dominion as it is on SR (2.5% instead of 4%) there was often no real good way to take someone down with two full warmogs.

Support Leblanc is more fun than every other support by miles. Sona/Soraka good for when I don't want to exert any brainpower whatsoever but leblanc is still more fun.

I know people can be bad, but come on. Last night, Triforce first Riven. It's like, it's not even a recommended item for her. She doesn't use half the stats on there.
But of course, she's Riven, so she still ended up with 10+ kills from just running around raping people.
