You would never want to see someone try it? Never? 5 years in the future you want to see 1-1-2 jungle? Both junglers camping botlane is a bit of a trilane~~

Seriously. You just disagree with me to be divisive. Really. Riot doesnt balance around games that have a jungle. So that means that they just balance around sub 25 normals and below 800 elo games. They CERTAINLY dont balance around tournaments, cuz god forbid they would do something lie nerf ezreal because high elo players are too good with him. And they DEFINITELY wouldnt nerf orianna for being to strong in the right hands. So how could they possibly balance something as important as laning and champion interactions around the jungle. I mean, nerfing teemo because he was ungankable with a wriggles and shrooms and could just push all day long? That would be HILARIOUS. Seriously. NEVER respond to one of my posts again. All you ever do is spout shit that makes no sense. While no one lieks guitar, balancing the jungle around lanes is close to impossible because there are too many uncontrollable factors. Im not saying that they should balance jungle around lanes. What I am saying is that the jungle has been a constant for so long that lane power and dominance has been mitigated by jungle presence. You cant tell me that a balance change is made in a vacuum- there are many factors that are considered, and how champions interact with ganks is one of them. There is a reason that ungankable champions tend to get nerfed. Just like there is a reason red buff has been nerfed. The game has been balanced for years around a jungle that has been, for the most part, stable. These changes just threw a giant wrench into that. And with a shift toward fewer ganks with less power behind them (lower exp and gold) I think is is a very real possibility that quite a few champions are going to have to be adjusted going forward to compensate for a lack of gank risk.

People have tried it. They've also done 2 1 2. They've also done 1 2 1. They've also done 2 1 1.
It's not like breaking the mold is some magical concept nobody has ever tried in LoL. 1 1 2 is the best set up, both to play as/against and to watch.

And its not like we dont get to see 1v2 top and bot switches every now and again. However those games tend not to be as clean, and end up just being a 1 way stomp because one team gets fed and the other just doesnt.

I've done 0-5-0 and taken mid turret in less than 3 creep waves.

Dayum. Gman Bob is 2k now? When did that happen?

I think the reason such games are stomps is because people haven't quite figured lane swapping out. But I think thats changing as people learn things, like who can 1v2 and who can't. The games only aren't "clean" cause people are still learning that stuff.

If Riot really wants to make jungling optional: Remove buff camps Nerf the shit out of wards
Only two ways imo. The existence of buff camps means the team without jungler is playing with no buffs until lanes break down. Buff camps are too far from lane and too durable for laners to just leave it and jack it a la DotA style runes. The cheap cost and spammability of wards means pure roamers and the roaming meta is easily countered by people with good map awareness and constant ward spam/wriggles. But you still want some roaming ganking force to relieve and put pressure on lanes, which means you need a jungler who can roam/farm jungle simultaneously.
The way LoL is set up, jungling is not and will never be optional. They can fuck the jungle as much as they want but as long as those two things exist (cheap wards+durable buff camps) junglers will exist no matter how fucked and shitty their farm/exp will be.

Really? How?

That was with old patch with rally. No rally now and wards die in just 1 hit as opposed to 3, much harder to do these days.

I'm kinda pissed about the whole jungle change. It feels like they forgot about everything they've learned for the past year and are making the same balancing mistakes again (huge sweeping changes, no community feedback before deploying, minimal live testing...).
Since I don't think they're that careless, the only reasonable explanation I can think of is that they're just not telling us the whole story.
I mean, how can they not realize that changing the jungle is going to affect the whole balance of the game?

Towers also will ignore wards now and target champions. Friends and I tried to do that like three months or so ago and it ended with all of us just having to back away before tower killed us.
What Craton said about 1-1-2 lane with jungle being optimal is the truth. You get optimal dragon control, you run champs that are beefy and/or harder to gank up top while also running an AP carry mid who can gank well due to high burst in mid game. The only time people switch it up is when you end up having a bad match up in a certain lane or you don't want a specific champion to get fed.

Ok, where can i report bugs? I played Sona today, we attacked an inhib, i had power chord up, and it just didnt want to go away. I shot it at least 6 times, and i still had it after the inhib went down.
