See spines, we already know that Fizz can use his magic trident to make fish appear from the ground. Why would he need fish embryos in his body? Instead its much more likely that he can use his trident to make portalfish appear, then the staff needs to recharge for the cooldown before he can conjure another one.

Quick question, at a low elo, what is a good alternative to playing support?
I'm asking because I just lost 200 elo (1450 -> 1250) having to play support. The carries I get either can't last hit, or just die somehow when I b or go to drop a ward.
So I'm not really sure what to do.. what would be good champs to go so that people don't bitch and moan about me taking their CS (which they don't get either way) and to just try to carry with? Or should I just try to rough it out? For what it's worth, I'm yet to lose a game this season where I didn't have to play support bot :<

below 1450, vast majority of people can't be expected to know how to last hit. you're probably better off playing a carry in bot lane even if someone already took AD. it's better to have each person in bot having 40% of the cs, than having a support with no cs and the carry with only like 50% of the cs anyways.

I just play support like ali or lux. If ally can't lasthit, lasthit all the ones he misses yourself. Get lots of AP. Win game. trollolol
I know one game Rhav and I duoed, rhav mid, I had to support ali. Ally couldn't last hit so I just took cs, built AP. Endgame their MF tried to 1v1 me and I instagibbed her lol.

Yah play a support which can make good use of farm. If your mentally crippled "carry" can't last hit, just take the farm yourself and kill things. Lux is perfect for this.

As far as the following people out of lane thing goes, Phreak said on the MLG stream that you generally should, so . . . it seems to follow that you generally shouldn't. Useful rule of thumb.

Except that you're the only person alive who can carry as Lux.
Support Ashe, Gangplank, Blitz, Yorick are all kinda viable (viable enough for 1450 for sure) and can switch to normal play if your ally sucks at lasthitting.
Janna (Triforce or AP), Sona (Triforce or Tanky AP), Soraka (Tanky AP) all scale decently. The builds in brackets are better than you might think assuming you get a bunch of farm.

lol well sorry but my experience with solo q is that up until like 1400s people simply just suck at last hitting. you're gonna have a better chance at winning if you pick a champ that can use the farm well rather than just hoping your 20 minute 15 cs vayne can carry you. in my experience, I just pick a champ and try to play as a support, but if my ally sucks then i jsut take farm and carry that shit.
and yea, /ignore all is your friend. so many games you can just go on tilt because of stupid teammates raging and flaming.

people like you DO ruin solo queue and saying "sorry" doesnt make up for it in the slightest.
I learned the hard way that people in LoL will use any excuse not to play the role the team needs but instead go bot and steal CS from your carry so you are almost gauranteed to lose that lane as the other team's crappy AD gets 80% of the CS vs two people roughly at 30-35% because youre screwing with each others ability to last hit.
I'd rather take the queue dodge penalty than play with people like you on my team because your mentality is selfish and you're basically ruining the chance to win despite the fact that as a bottom spot there is a legitimate chance you are the worst player on your team, but clearly you think so much of yourself that you dont take that into consideration.
can you tell I just tanked 50 elo out of gold to this behavior in one game?
if youre going to be a selfish, immature little baby go do it in normals because ranked is about more than just your ability to to last hit; it's also about your attitude and showing that you are a good enough player to understand why sometimes you have to play your role and not ruin the game for others.

I think it's unfair to call him selfish when the only reason he steals CS and uses /ignore is because he thinks it helps him win the game (and by extension helps his team).
Not sure how that's selfish. You could call him misinformed, or stupid, or wrong about what the winning strat at that elo is, but selfish is the wrong label.

Dont take the second carry option... in low Elo ppl will just rage and bicker = game already lost. Go with the listen spine provided, janna sona soraka as real supports, GP as unconventional etc.
You could try roaming with a champ, hope you can make your top and bot lane crush hard enough to outweigh your shitty bot lane.

Ignoring people is a good way to keep yourself off tilt. I can't mention the times someone is such a bitch I've wanted to hurt them, it's better to put them on ignore.

You shouldn't take the second carry because you'll lose the game because you can't have a carry with no items not be worthless. Specifically I had a brand who didn't buy enough wards because he needed his ap items. We were winning that game (and one of their players even dc'd for about 10 minutes), yet we still lost because we had no ward coverage, and he couldn't do anything without AP. Soraka is only like 450 ip, and you don't need to do anything to play her well. Just pick a jungler if you want a lot of control over the game. I carry a lot of games with jungle rammus for no reason than I can gank after killing a jungle minion. I'll have 10+ ganks before 20 minutes even if they don't all result in kills.
