Didn't hotshot start off as a duo lane player? I seem to remember him bot a lot early on and jiji/Chauster being the solos. Maybe they go back to what worked so well in the beginning? Although times have changed and other teams have gotten much better. HS has been talking about switching back to suppot for a while, and he ACTUALLY PRACTICES IT in solo q, whereas elementz does... something. I definitely think there is a better chance of HSGG+jiji working out than Ele+jiji. What remains to be seen is if ele can pick up top lane.
Elementz is busy bitching with Saintvicioius so he doesn't do his job... atleast not in scrims.

Leona - Jarvan bot lane is hilarious (hsgg stream). I really, really hope that stuff like that becomes truly viable to use in tournaments.

to be fair tho, just kus you're the support player doesnt mean you exclusively, or even mostly play support in solo queue. I remember trying to find xpecial support builds and finding out that he doesn't play them very often in ranked, despite being the main support player for tsm.

I hope so to, the obnoxious lane is a lost art but has been tried before. I remember when Irelia + Maokai. Maokai + Leona. Garen + Leona ect.

a lot of those kinds of lanes are bad at farming when you can't be aggressive though. Jarvan has his spear and flag to last hit with

Well Goose tried to run blitzstar and got completely annihilated even though they got first blood. I guess it had more to do with them getting outplayed everywhere else (and even at bottom really after that first kill), but that's how the cookie crumbles I guess.

blitzstar isn't as fun as Brand / Sion. Me and my friend once 10-0'd the bottom lane with it

On the other hand, every time i see Nhat Nguyen (Support player for EG) on stream he is playing support.

shaco blitz is the real obnoxious lane. blitz is a great support and can zone the fuck out of the enemy team with the box stacks that shaco builds.
