Riven should play aggressive from very early on, since her abilities don't cost anything and she has a stun AND a shield to win the exchanges. Once you hit 6, your execute ultimate is super scary.
Try swapping how you play Riven and Irelia up.

Or does it proc after her initial slow wears off adding length to the total slow time? Slow stacking is multiplicative with 65% effectiveness on any slow weaker than the strongest one. So the total slow percentage is 1 - (1 - 0.2)*(1 - 0.15*0.65) = 27.8%. On November 16 2011 12:11 beefhamburger wrote: 2) Second hit - If the stun time is longer, is the slow proc comepletely wasted? I'm guessing it activates at the same time as the stun, but is masked by the stun. If the stun time is shorter, will they be slowed once it wears off? For the difference in time (1.5s - x)? Correct. The slow overlaps the stun.

Phoenix Udyr can't afford to give up Flash. Flash->Bear stun is too useful in too many situations for Surge to be worthwhile comparatively. And if you're giving up Smite, well I have nothing to say to you.

With 21/9/0, AS Quints/Marks/Glyphs and Armor Seals he can start Boots + 3 Potions and do a straight clear starting at wolves/blue finishing by 3:45 with half health leftover (QWEQ). With a leash there's no doubt he'd be at full health at the end. ! If this is true I can start playing my bread and butter again. Did you rush wriggles or WE?

I meant using it on your starting Blue / early Dragons. If you're thinking about exchanging it for smite I suggest you learn why people take smite. If you're taking it instead of your other summoner, Phoenix Udyr already has one of the fastest clears in the game. Wasting a summoner to make it slightly faster is not a good idea. I could see a Surge gank being interesting, but I feel like flashing for the stun would be better 99% of the time than the extra damage.
