Wards are what allow you to play aggressive in lane. You don't need flash except that there's some seriously crazy jungler gankers like Rammus and Nocturne. I just had flashbacks to the last aggression discussion from half a year ago. Aggressive jungler -> passive laners, passive jungler -> aggressive laners.

The nerf to heals was a nerf to the sustain mechanics involved in the heal-poke siege. That is, cheap spammy heals that allow you to relentlessly siege a tower. This means that the team without a heal is forced to back off because eventually one person will need to pill to go heal which forces a 4v5. That meant all teams were encouraged to run a heal which could then lead to stall wars. In essence, that meant who ever could keep up the heal longest (generally, who runs out of mana faster) would win. That's not appropriate.
Summoner Heal is a long CD one use ability that discourages stacking as after use any further Summoner Heals will be reduced in power for a short duration. So this is unlikely to have those siege heal problems. In fact, it is more geared towards that one time clutch usage in a fight. Currently, it can't do that because the heal is too weak once the game reaches a certain level.
Also, Udyr skin sale. This is interesting. Should I learn Udyr then?

I worry about the redundancy of the new surge summoner and Taric's ultimate if surge is just the mobile version of rally. Maybe it won't affect anything since I don't see it being picked by that many people.

The ability to cleanse away ignite is pretty sick imo. Think Swain, Irelia, Vlad, WW. =S

So ... any ideas on how to deal with Trynd and the like now that every one of them is going to be running cleanse to get rid of exhaust, other than try and burn through it with more CC? How does Cleanse's CC reduction apply to affects that last longer than 3 seconds - if I stick Wither (5 sec) on someone with Cleanse's reduction up for another second, how long will it last?
The fuck is Riot thinking? Healing abilities are too strong, too much sustain. Nerf to heals. Meanwhile at R&D: "We should buff heal!"
Healing abilities being too strong doesn't mean the Heal summoner wasn't too weak. Did anyone take it past the first few levels?

Flash is being used for mostly aggressive reasons for me these days. Flash to bear paw on udyr for example or Jarvan prison.
I just don't see flash nerfs as changing the problem with the spell. Yes it's annoying but it's the point of the spell to change positioning. Hell I use flash mostly to deal with exhaust. so I can exit the fight to join it after it falls off. I could see many a champion being quite abit weaker if they had to deal with a weaker flash. I'd love to see how popular aoe and counter aoe champs are going to be depending on the distance of flash change.

Summoner heal is never used, won't hurt that much to buff it a little.

If it actually scales pretty well in season 2, I'm affraid it could be almost as good as a soraka ult on a 5v5 teamfight...

while Cleanse will now remove summoner spell effects such as Ignite and Exhaust.
