Just won a ranked game as rally/fortify Teemo. Started the game by literally running up to the middle and sitting invisible until level three when I killed their mid with the help of ours. It was amazing. (I just ran around killing people after that. Thank goodness our ad could 1v2 successfully).

Dunking bads has to be the best feeling in the world. Watching Smash J4 in solo q is really fun and I don't even J4 myself.

I think the reason why I have a soft spot for vayne and ezreal is because they can just tumble/blink out of j4's ult.

That's why you save dunk for the killing blow duh. I love that its like infiniti % of his bonus AD. It doing 800 damage to a single target is just silly strong.

katarina's ult is just cleanup crew. the real power is dealing as much damage as possible with Q and E over and over again as you rack up assists and maintain good positioning, then R to kill whatever's left. you dont just burst in and R and hope for the best. katarina is more of a fighter rather than a true assassin, R is just a finishing move. the only real problem kat has is that hard disables or cc really shut her down because she's squishy so you need a team comp built around her for her to be effective against a proper team. the other tinier problem is that with no sustain she has some really, really tough lane matchups

all of her numbers are fine. i think she could stand to be buffed a little just so the stigma that she's awful will disappear, but she's not UP. just really hard to fit into most conventional teams. but even so, against teams that can shut down her R she is still really really scary until she's dead. E is probably the best move in the game.

ive been wanting to experiment with a kat/support bot lane, but she scales so heavily with levels (E base damage is <3) that I'm not sure its viable. plus i'm not sure she can trade damage favorably vs, for example, caitlyn or vayne, when they have a support as well.

Bleh...but Kat seems really weak now that Gunblade has been nerfed but that is theorycraft on the top of my head.

Some other heroes that are incredibly entertaining built dps:

- on hit udyr. tiger stance, bloodrazors wit's end etc, does unreal damage. Only done it on dominion where you can pick up kitae's but I imagine it's quite lol in 5s as well.
- Jungle alistar, 21/0/9 and attack speed runes. Wriggles triforce ghostblade and assassinate some bitches, too hilarious.
- Various AD nidalee builds
- Rammus of course, this build comes up like every other page.

rylai, deathcap, lichbane, voidstaff, all items i prefer on katarina over gunblade. it's good sometimes when the enemy team has no real dangerous cc, and you can R earlier in a fight and just soak some damage, but most of the time i build strictly AP, plus boots and a banshee/QSS

Old Gunblade? New Gunblade I dunno about but I'm positive it's still better than Lich Bane and Void Staff.
Reason why Gunblade is so quintessential on Kat is because you just Q and auto all day and stay at full hp, even if you trade hits, then jump in Ulti, slow active. Just so much versatility during laning phase.

First item has always been Rylais or Gunblade for me.

i usually rush a revolver and a rylais, then deathcap most of the time and maybe after that i upgrade revolver into gunblade, but most of the time the game is over by then :D

I think you're missing the point of why you get a Gunblade. WotA does not have an on-demand slow+nuke, nor does it have AD.

The lifesteal isn't that good untill you get more ad/lichbane, 1.5k gold doesn't justify less vamp/ap for some lifesteal, not to mention the wota aura is really good.
While the active is great it's also situational depending on teamcomp.
