silver bolts and tumble are both on hit effects. It's not like "does silver bolts apply on hit effects", it IS an on hit effect. If it works on spellvamp the rules for vamp are wrong (that is, applied inconsistently and therefore not really rules)... which is entirely possible.
now that i think about it, it's actually a little odd jax's ult applies spellvamp.

I'd personally guess that tumble and silver bolts are both affected by spellvamp, but if no one else has done it in an hour (gotta go to dinner for now) I'll take 5 mins to test and and post results.

Tumble shouldn't be affected by spellvamp (it's an autoattack ... you don't get spellvamp on Nasus Q for instance) but I'd guess Silver Bolts would be.

Lifesteal and Spellvamp are independent of damage types (Magical, physical, and true). It is based on the type of the ability. Attacks use life steal (this include on next hit effects and any abilities that apply on hit effects like red buff or frozen mallet - examples are Mystic Shot, Decisive Strike, Siphoning Strike etc) while Spells and Abilities use Spellvamp regardless of the being physical or magical damage. Garen's Judgment uses Spellvamp as does Annie's Incinerate.
With Corki specifically his passive does not apply spellvamp or lifesteal. As to why it does not appear is because damage is applied in a Queue style system with the passive damage being applied after the basic attack.
Basic Attack hits killing the target.
Passive damage no longer has a valid target so deals no damage.
This is true for other spells and abilities as well. If two Annie's were to toss disintegrates on the same target and it only has enough health to survive one hit. Whichever spell hit first would kill the target and grant its caster spellvamp etc and the other one would have no effect hitting a dead, invalid target.

The only modifier that matters in determining whether it's affected by spell vamp is "spell damage". Some abilities of that nature are labeled as spell damage, and some aren't. It's not really consistent at all.

This is completely untrue. Pantheon for example gets spellvamp for hss and it deals physical damage.

The way I understand it is, abilites = spellvamp, autos = lifesteal. Bio-Arcane Barrage only gets lifesteal, for instance, so I assume it's the same for Vayne.

noob question, animation cancelling is when you move just as an auto attack is about to go off, the sound even plays but nothing comes out, then when you next go to attack its completely instant making last hitting easier, riiightt?
