It's kind of stupid how weak the defense tree is. -48 hp -4% damage taken and some -minion damage is all of what you can get for investing heavily. | ||

Backdooring: I just lost a whole game where our team was insanely winning but we were negated from pushing by a Master Yi with teleport, he just kept backdooring our base the enemy got more ahead. And then we lost because we couldn't push properly and the opposition, I feel like thats incredibly broken I know theres an anti back dooring system, but I feel like its so damn weak. In DotA backdooring was super rare because it was incredibly difficult (Well maybe not super rare), was it because of the free fortify?. On LoL its ridiculous and I blame it more and more on highlander. What do you guys think? I think they need to buff the anti-backdooring system pretty significantly, I feel like BDing takes so much fun out of the game. | ||

Then i realised whatever wins you the game wins you the game, such is LoL or any MOBA game for that matter. There is no cheap, no lame, no dishonourable, there is only winning and losing. Think about it, the entire game revolves around never picking a fair fight. Whatever makes you win makes you win. That said i still don't like it but i have learned to live with it. | ||

If he's fed enough to actually back-door with any amount of effectiveness, then you probably lost the game some time ago. True backdooring is so much harder in LoL due to how much stronger towers are, how they gain damage on successive hits, and how there are no illusion/image items to tank towers for you (though there are some champ skills for it). If he's split-pushing, then you need to play around that fact. Initiate 5v4s, force objectives, etc. Split-pushing in DotA is actually fairly common, given how you can buy TPs, and how many heroes have incredibly strong low-cooldown global abilities that set them up well for split-pushing (Spectre, Furion, BoT Tinker, etc.). | ||

Split pushing is harder to stop depending on the champion and your team composition. | ||

split-pushing: pushing minion waves simultaneously and killing turrets with minion support. trilane-pushing (dota): a strategy where your team pushes all three lanes simultaneously with 3 tanky carries basicly all the time while 2 supports help out where they can to prevent losses. backdooring: killing turrets/inhibitors/nexus without minion support. turrets are 2 times as strong as they are without minion support. if someone is able to backdoor effectively then you probably have to force a 5on5 with a fast push which will most likely turn into a basetrade. however, there are champions that can stop yi from backdooring if you got teleport up or sth like that but those are few. | ||

I don't think you find fair fights anywhere what's the point in that anyway and if you win a fair fight it's not fair because you were more skilled to begin with or if it was by chance, then what are you proud of? | ||
