Losing 5 games in a row has as bad an effect on my ego as my rating won the vs. AI game though! even though it somehow managed to be a close thing. Also, does it disconcert anyone else to think that there are quite a few people who never actually play PvP, and just play versus bots? Somewhat missing the point, it seems to me.

If that's how they have fun, who are we to question them.
But ranked. Oh man. People getting caught all day. Ignoring towers. I don't get it.

Yay. Won my first solo q match today, but I pretty much got carried since I was playing support.

I hope so too, but no such luck in my second game. I had a bunch of really aggressive teammates who repeatedly chased orianna and cait while they were low and gave them 5-6 kills each in the first 15 min.

Too bad, I have at least two of the champs in each of those bundles -_-

Those bundles are such a ripoff, it's hilarious if anyone even thinks about buying them.

Hilarious.
Dominion is supposed to be right after Pax (which is in one week), so it's looking good for early September.

I don't know why Riot is soooo stingy with Champions. It boggles me tbh.
The more champions the general public has, the more sales you'll have for skins, no? zz...
What Riot really need is a mix and match bundle. Pick champions up to a certain point (let's say any Champion after Caitlyn can't be chosen) then price them at a discount RP. Players can mix champions up to 2600 RP cost. Under is ok, over is not.
People would be so f'ing happy. >_>

Pretty sure Dominion is done at this point. Small tweaks really. Riot just wants more publicity for LoL in general at GC and PAX.
It's a good move by them. Dangle a new mode in front of the public AND have these great high level games. Early Sept is going to be very profitable for Riot.

Well in general people are only going to buy skins on champions that they actually like. Some people might want a skin on every champion or something but I don't think that's a significant amount of the players.

More exposure to champions, the more likely players find champion(s) they really like then buy skins for.
Just my take on the situation. :X

2600 RP for 5 champs are you serious? The original 'retail'(like, actually found at best buy) was like 30 bucks for 40 champs+enough RP for a few more wasn't it? In fact I'm fairly sure after a few months you could grab it on amazon for 20 dollars, which was the only time I seriously considered investing money in this game.
I've been a hater about their pricing system so a long time so I am most certainly biased, but that is fucking dumb.
Edit: What's even more retarded: if you bought the 5 champs on sale(could obviously take some time for each to go on sale but making a point) they'd cost a total of 2435RP(487x5), REAL SOLID DEAL BROS.

What are people's thoughts on, picking support first and solos last in ranked 5s to counter; running cleanse instead of exhaust on ADs.
|
I prefer counterpicking with support, so it's really up to the players :[

Cleanse is somewhat underused. It's a good option, but a defensive one. Most players like more aggressive options for their Summoners.
Back during the beta, it wasn't uncommon for all ten players to be running Boost/Flash (what Cleanse was called back then. It used to be a Spell Shield active + instant debuff)

Exhaust is great on any AD that can't kite. whoops #1 at reading Problem with Cleanse is Flash basically covers you defensively and does a better job than Cleanse, while Exhaust gets you more kills and is more useful in teamfights (usually).
