Udyr doesn't have problems with minions. Hit Q and wait a few seconds longer than with pheonix stance. Tiger scales better with wits end and triforce and pheonix absolutely doesn't hit anywhere near as hard vs single targets. I tried it for a while but people wouldn't let me play pheonix because it literally does no damage until you get some kind of malady/wits end troll build going and you are let to hit a single target for a long time. (In which case tiger would still do more damage).
My ganks felt weaker than pre 6 warwick as well. The damage was laughable and the scaling was terrible. Maybe I can try it again with the buffs but you don't even clear the jungle faster so I don't see any motivation to put points in it aside from looking pretty. If I wanted to clear small camps and minions waves fast I would pick mordekaizer.
Udyr right now has the saving grace that he can burst squishies really hard which makes up for the fact that you have trouble getting close to anybody in a mid/lategame teamfight with deathcap/void staff ap casters. Going pheonix makes you even more useless in teamfights.
Lets say you hit all 5 ticks of pheonix aura. Thats 275 damage. Your 1 hit from Q bonus damage does 230+1.7x your total attack damage. So already you're doing more damage from tiger in 1 hit than in 5 seconds of pheonix cawcawcawing.
The attack speed buff is more flexible (you don't need to wait for 3 hits) and does more damage once you get an attack damage item. Very often if you stun the guy with bear you won't get 3 hits off, or you won't get any more than 3, while with tiger you get a 600-700 burst with crazy attack speed and your first hit. Even assume you get to attack a target for a long time to get more than 1 3 hit pheonix proc you only need 140 attack damage or so to make the 75% attack speed buff even with 70 damage per hit (212 damage per 3 hits counting the AP buff). Considering you're getting something like wriggles and wits end that's already 65 damage per hit on top of base damage so from level 10 or so on you're doing more damage. I guess the 24 AD buff from pheonix counts for something as well, so maybe the sustained damage is compareable but the burst isn't even close, and I'm going to take burst over sustained damage any day on a champ who has a very very limited per target attack time.
Everything that makes udyr not viable right now makes pheonix udyr one of the worst champions in the game.

Nidalee really doesn't need a cougar form buff. She can push lanes all day so she doesn't need to be in teamfights. If a fight gets forced, she is still useful in human form with her poke/support and she can use cougar to do cleanups.

Deathcap Void Staff means you can ult for about 2 seconds before running out of mana zzz.

Also without RoA you can just get insta bursted, or just straight up killed since your ult heals nothing now -_-
Need a Zhonya now, which is why Swain is gonna suck like Morgana/Kennen :|

No survivability if you rush tear - deathcap - void staff? The nice thing about getting RoA on casters is that it gives some health, increased mana pool, and AP...
I suppose if you have crazy good cs then you can rush those pure damage items, but i guess it also depends how good your team is at zoning the opponents champions.

All the good swains seem to get fairly tanky with QSS (ignite sup?) and RoA. Xpeke then went void staff and thats probably necessary with the change that healing comes based on damage done, so you wait to get maximum healing from tanky guys in front. After that you can get deathcap and void staff. Swain doesn't have the highest burst dps anyway so going full ap isn't needed. The healing part is what makes him different from vlad.

GP nerf is most likely not enough... Huge buffs on Yorick.
So now you will always have a ward in your own brush at bottom/top in case the enemy is running some teleport ganker, and you should be able to see the teleport coming for 3.5 seconds (with mastery)?
Sad about the Ashe Arrow change, but in the end it's still as strong as before.
