why do the new champion release notes never have numbers?

I like everything but the hero kill gold changes. Im seriously wtfing at those.

I wish riot would do things to make the game more aggressive instead of a farmfest.
Those small maps were like a boxing match in a phone booth.

The champion gold bounty changes are interesting.

They made it easier to catchup if you are dying by making multi-deaths worth so much less. BUT they made it harder to catchup by decreasing bounty on large kill-streaks.

I guess if you combine this with EXP changes it might make more sense. But is EXP > Gold?

I'm fine with the multi-kill gold because it punishes you for going on a kill spree, lol. Can't count the number of times I'd get incidental kills with Amumu, rack up a kill spree, and inevitably die (cuz I'm AQQ) and give someone 600 bonus gold.

The multi-death also makes a bit of sense in that you can't farm the same person, but I also feel like this makes it harder to carry solo queue type games where you have to demolish a crappy person. That said it kinda equates out because it also means your feeder over yonder isn't going to dish 3000 gold to their carry.

Dun think so. If you're resorting to suicide pushing because you're behind, chances are the exp debuff isn't big enough that you're not going to give them a sizeable exp advantage. Also it's unlikely that your WHOLE team was on a chain death. Subsequent chain suicides mean your team is still falling further and further behind. On the other hand if you're ahead and you suicide push you're still giving them a huge chunk of help.

Are the Kayle changes already live? I was told they weren't going to be this patch. Ima go investigate.

It actually heals for that much. 63 at level 1 with no bonus AD or AP.

Righteous Fury is now 17 sec CD at all ranks, with a mana cost of 55. It scales from 20% to 40% damage as splash, with a bonus 10 to 50 magic damage dealt per swing.

Okay this is what I've got.

Description of changes to Kayle:
  • Overall: Idea is to make Kayle less Support and more acually Hybrid Carry and damage dealer with some clutch moments thrown in. Sort of how Nidalee is a solo lane champ despite having heals. Autoattack animation seems to have been changed as well to make last hitting easier (?).
  • Passive: Riot hates "free gold" passives. So this got toned down. Makes Kayle less of an early game beast. Flat nerf.
  • Q: Higher base damage, lower mana costs, higher AP ratio. This is supposed to be your primary nuke skill.
  • W: Riot dislikes heals. So mana costs go up and less AP ratio. Base values go up and MS boost increases as well. The idea is that this is a clutch move you use in team fights on your carry or something instead of just a heal spam.
  • E: Your farming and dps skill. Base damage increased, mana cost decreased, CD same at all levels, range buffed. Idea is that with max CDR you can have 100% uptime with your E and do damage to everyone.
  • R: No change I believe.
  • Theoretical Skill levelling: EQW, R>Q>E>W. Farm hard, use Q as a nuke to boost damage and slow, W to chase them down, E to do damage.

Patch notes on Kayle according to me:

Holy Fervor now converts 20% of Kayle's Attack Damage to Ability Power, and 10% of Ability Power to Attack Damage, down from 30% and 15% respectively.

Reckoning:
Mana cost reduced from 80/85/90/95/100 to 70/75/80/85/90
Damage increased from 60/110/160/210/260 (+0.8 *AP) to 80/130/180/230/280 (+1.0 *AP).
Slow increased from 25% to 35% (still 4 sec duration) at all levels

Divine Blessing:
Mana cost increased from 60/65/70/75/80 to 75/90/105/120/135
Healing amount rebalanced from 65/100/135/170/205 (+0.5 *AP) to 60/115/170/225/280 (+0.25 *AP)
Movement speed buff increased from 12% to 18/21/24/27/30%, duration remains at 4 seconds
Cooldown increased from 10 to 12 seconds

Righteous Fury:
Mana cost reduced from 65 to 50 at all levels
Bonus magic splash damage increased from 4/10/16/22/28 (+0.3 *AP) to 10/20/30/40/50 (+0.3 *AP).
Cooldown reduced from 22/21/20/19/18 to 17 at all levels.

EDIT: Added in mana cost reduction to Reckoning.

Yeah I feel like they just nerfed Kayle more, which is really bad considering position she was in as far as tier level/ playability.. I mean her heal wasn't her best feature, but it was really useful, and added utility. The cool thing about Kayle was how much utility she brought to table with her Ult, her slow, her speed boost, the amount of damage she dished out.
