EDIT: Btw, #2 best bird has been hit quite hard with the changes of his healing. Swain isn't typically building for a lot of MPen, being a tanky caster, so you should expect the numbers on healing vs champions (and late game vs minions to some extent) to drop pretty significantly. Doesn't hurt his laning, but the "outlast everyone" philosophy of his teamfighting might be pretty much dead. | ||

According to internal testing as reported by MoonBear, jungleplank has a clear time of 3:40 startin at blue with a hard leash. That's pretty good. With red buff, Q can help as a gap closer and his stackin slow keeps them in whacking range/ult. Additionally, his ult is global which means he will have a strong map presence throughout the game and assist in ganks/fights in lane all over the map. As a laner, GP in his first incarnation was considered OP because Q applied his passive; it did a ton of damage and reduced heal and did dot, which was pretty deadly in lane. GP passive no longer applies heal reduc, so it's weaker in that respect, but now his Q applies the passive again. A lucky crit on a Q was already really strong, add to that a buffed dot and GP's harass becomes very powerful. Not to mention his raise morale gives a much larger AD buff, which will also increase the punishing power of his Q. Also, the fact that his passive stacks and got buffed means that trading hits will likely be in favor of GP. | ||

A game that is not accessible to people is not a direction that any game company should take if they want to remain viable. A good article worth reading would be this. While it talks about Magic the Gathering instead of LoL, the same principles apply. It may also be worth noting that several of the Design Team have background in balancing and design from things such as Magic. Except at those levels balance doesn't matter at all and the better player is going to win no matter what he plays. You seriously want to balance the game around people who just a-move and pray without any additional commands? How is it "balancing" anyway... I'm just completely amazed by the complete lack of logic here. Please buff Rumble because he's UP at 600 elo because his skills are too complicated. | ||
